We need Mysterio, Kraven, Kingpin before those two again. (Goblin should be built up and terrifying.)

I'm pretty excited for this movie, but I am sick to death of the tragic villain thing in the Spider-Man movies. Can't we just get a guy who is evil? So far we've had a guy who went insane because of experimental drugs, a guy who went insane due to a lab accident and personal tragedy, then we got the Sandman debacle, now we're on poor Doc Connors who just wants his arm back.

Give me an evil SOB please.

i agree but a lot of spider-mans villains were regular people who had a accident happen to them for them to become villains .

I thought this part was interesting:

One element of the Spider-Man costume that makes it different from most superhero disguises is that it has a mask that completely covers the face. I asked Garfield if having his face concealed like that was inhibiting as an actor. He replied he found it to be the opposite. Garfield said, "It freed you up, more than inhibited, absolutely, because of the power of the mask."
Garfield drew a parallel to modern tech culture: "We all have contact with the power of anonymity on a daily basis now because of the internet. Being able to say and do anything and not be held accountable is powerful... You get to be whoever you want to be." Stone agreed that there was a certain charge to scenes where Garfield was behind the mask, saying "It's kind of exhilarating."

Hopefully it means he'll wear it more than Tobey did despite what we've seen.

That's one of Marvel's trademarks. And honestly, I prefer it to the "it's because evil" halfassed excuse.

Imagine you going to sleep and you look out the window and see that mother____er smiling at you like that.
You know what villian I wondnt mind in a spidey movie is probaly the punisher. They fought from time to time. punisher proved he can go toe to toe with spidey. He's also kind of the opposite of spiderman in a way.

1st appearance of The Punisher was ASM #129. He was a Spider-Man villain before anything else.

Did anyone see mib 3 in imax andsee the 6 minute preview for this? I'm not interested in mib 3, but I wanna know what kind of new footage was shown if any.
