Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Oh, I don't think Topher is a great actor or anything, nor would I want him playing Venom.

I'm just saying, he didn't single-handedly ruin Spiderman 3 as others are suggesting...

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

That'd be a fellow named Avi Arad. He practically bullied Raimi into changing the original set up for SM3 and said he was doing it for the fans. If you look at SM2 which was basically Sam you did great in the first, go ahead and do what you want in the second and SM3 where producers and studioheads got involved it's obvious where the blame lies.

The thing is the studios will continuously blame Tobey and Raimi because it's just easier.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

This is kinda weird:

From June 15th, Walmart are going to be screening in store, and then selling on disc, a scene from The Amazing Spider-Man. The first screening is at 12.01am on the 15th, with more screenings at 10am, 3pm and 8pm throughout the rest of that day, and then it will all be repeated on June 16th.

What this footage will entail, I have no idea, but Sony are banking on it being something fans will want to see again, because they'll also be selling copies on disc. For $2.96 you'll get the scene, some behind the scenes footage and a promo for the tie-in video game. Also included will be a reprint of The Amazing Spider-Man #6 comic book, featuring the first appearance of The Lizard.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

While youre there, you can pick up some detergent. Some underwear, and some more Bugles.

I've never heard of watching a movie (or a clip of) at a Walmart.

what the F__ Has any movie EVER done this?
Not even Transformers, not even, No I cant think of a movie that ever did this, :dunno

Nope. This is a first. And I certainly hope it's the last and doesn't become a trend, because it'll get out of hand fast.
