Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

This is going to be different guys. I hope some of you fanboys are gonna welcome change, or you're not gonna like it i'm afraid. I almost like to think of this of this as SM 2.0. Or SM 2012. It's the 21st century take on SM.

(i currently don't know what to think anymore)

If it's true about the spider activating PP's powers that were already there from daddy or whatever some of you are gonna be pissed. And while i think that would be kinda lame as well. I've been expecting change, since i've been following this movie for a few years now. I dunno we'll see.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Negative press screening remark. (From SHH)

"My full review will be available on the 29th of June (that's when embargo will be lifted). Today I left the screening with the feeling, like someone took my favorite Spider-Man toy and broke it into pieces, if that makes any sense. I'll be very skeptical about the sequel, from now on. With that said, if the rumors of Sony's search for the new director are anywhere close to the truth, then we might be going somewhere, but it's also important to get the sequel's script right, that is also what I'm most worried and disturbed about, especially after today."

Are there any other superhero movies you'd compare it to?
Green Lantern instantly comes to mind.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Damn RIM on SHH compared this to GL. Im still keeping a little hope alive though.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

I dunno how some can compare it to Avengers and then to GL:lol

Not buying the HT fig if it sucks though.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

This guy says it's the best superhero move ever made. Reviews are all over the place! (remember these are people on the internet not the judge and jury)

His dad had to run away and hide all the evidence. Peter father created something powerful. Yes, his father gave powers to Peter Parker, but Spider bit just activeted it. Nobody else wont get powers from Spider bit, than Peter.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

The WalMart DVD is pretty lame. It seems like the First Look doc I saw before Avengers and the "scene" they show is the carjacker scene we've already seen in the previews. Worse is that if that's the scene we're getting, they've changed the, "You found my weakness.... IT'S SMALL KNIVES" line. Now he just rambles before shooting a cascade of web balls at the thief. :monkey1

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

Hmm but only one person compared it to gl . Maybe his expectations were to high and the people who had low expectation were surprised ?
