He looked like a tool to me, the world is full of them. Maybe he thought it would be funny of PP awoke and spilled the drink over himself. I generally don't get worked up over silly actions like this. If you analysis every movie like this you would never enjoy them.

I loved the part at the end when Peter stumbles back home, bloody, beaten and bruised, and slowly opens his back and hands Aunt May the carton of eggs. Awesome moment. I predicted it, of course, but it was a great Peter Parker moment.

I just picked up the new 'Amazing Spider-Man' game. I love it so far. It's refreshing to see a game like this take place AFTER a movie, rather than relive something we've already seen.

If you're looking for something extra, pick it up.

Guys after seeing this a second time I have to admit I was moved numerous times during the movie. A lot more than the first time. I don't know why but I loved it a lot more the second time around. I also wanted to say that I actually loved the score. Some were poking fun of it but I really loved it. Grade A great Spiderman/Superhero movie.

Phew . . . the stench off this movie was foul.

In short: it's all been done before and done better.

Sony is clueless. Marvel should have the rights to their flagship character.

I really wanted to like this, but it was laughably bad in its characterization, execution, and cliched cookie-cutter plot.

Garfield's Parker is a punk arsehole. So much so that I was rooting for the Lizard.

And the costume still sucks the root.

Funny that you contradict yourself. There was more characterisation in this movie alone then the previous trilogy and of course it's going to be cliched; it's a comic book film about a teenager being a 'spider'.

And the costume kicks ass!

I like the costume now. Because I wanted to from the beginning and have seen it so much. But it's still lame. Especially compared to the beautiful costume we had in the OT. :monkey2

I knew going in this was SM 2.0. I knew this, i don't know how anyone couldn't. I followed the movie for 2 years, knew they took elements from USM and such, consulted Bendis! So i knew we were getting origin 2.0. And again, i knew this. So i went into the movie knowing this.

And they did what they set out to IMO. Tell it again a bit different, make it fun, and most important make us actually care for the characters. If you're going to reboot this is how you do it IMO. Soon? Sure. But it's is what it is.

Now! In 2 years, i will finally get a new story and some meat! The sequel has the potential to be incredible IMO. The ASM is a great start, it's up to them to make an AMAZING sequel.

Again 8/10
