Just back from my third viewing. Still love it.

Fight scene in high school is best action sequence in any comicbook movie. The scene were he wrapped the lizard in webbing and crawled around him was pure Spidey. And as everyone knows Spidey is the greatest.

The best scene in the film is the argument between Uncle Ben and Peter.

Growing up without my dad being around, it was very relatable.

In YOUR opinion.

I'll go with the whole final battle scene in "The Avengers" for 400.

But it was still a cool scene.

In your opinion, bro?

Or were you just psuedo confirming he wasn't offering his cousin Neil's opinion?

Yes the avengers fight was good and hulk was beast but It was more of a gem to see spidey quip and use unique webbing attacks

Nah. It was great. I can think of several I liked better.

Runaway train scene in SM2. Final fight scene in Avengers. Plane Catch in Superman Returns (not a great movie, but a good scene). Tumber/Batpod semi-truck chase in TDK.

There may be others.

Agreed avengers and tdk scenes are hard to top.

Finally saw it last night!!
Yep, amazing alright!!
I was skeptical to be honest.... I wasn't too crazy about this reboot since I love the Raimi movies, but man! I was proven wrong!!
This movie is so awesome!! :rock!
Loved it!! I gotta watch it again!!
:panic:

I saw nothing in the new flick that topped that scene.

And did the world really need another rehashed Spidey origin story?

I say no.

I did. Spidey being shot in the leg and trying to jump and swing to Oscorp tower.

Much better than watching Tobey's double chin wobble as the train tries to hault.

IN MY OPINION.

Probably not but it's hard to avoid that story with a reboot. It's too central to his character. It didn't need another reboot either but that's water under the webbing.

I finally had an opportunity to see this movie this weekend and I feel that my life is now just a little brighter.

Because I chose to see The Avengers again.

:monkey3:)

There were a few things I really liked about this film especially the fact that Peter wasn't immediately an expert on his spider-powers to the point where his spider-sense was erratic and helpful but not to the point we saw Tobey all of sudden have it in his films. I also liked the constant showing of Peter using his science skills even in defeating the Lizard that was besting him almost every time. The lizard besting him every time was great too as it would have been unbelievable for Parker as he was in the film to suddenly be the master fighter.

I didn't like the ending though, not the ending of the arc mind you the actual ending. I know the Spider-Man swinging montage is almost expected and I saw it in 2D but knew that the webbing was made for the 3D folks but I thought the film would have been much more awesome if Peter says his line and it just ended, that they didn't resort to the "cheap" superhero doing classic poses that has been done before.
