I'm not a troll. I saw the movie. It was awful. Then I come here to see what the Freaks think. I can't believe you would like this. I was so sad inside. Even the opening Hide-and-Seek game was pure crap. Who sets up a fake guy using shoes and a broom? Was Peter Parker's Dad special needs? I thought he was a scientist.

You can't go changing the characters at whim.

That would be like making a big screen production of Life Goes On and making Corky really good looking and smart.

Not yet. Caught the 25min preview (which judging by those who aren't completely gay for the character) gave me enough of a taste to know that since I had to choose between ASM and TDKR, the choice was TDKR. So I did what I usually do and sent a couple friends to see it a second time to support it and will be picking it up in Fall on BR (or potentially catching a double feature tomorrow if TDKR disappoints - which it looks like it might ).

Every post I have a new reason for the awfulness that I witnessed at my local megaplex last night.

Here's another thing...why did the guy who is missing an ID badge at Oscorp get kicked out screaming? He obviously was who he said he was. They didn't check his or Peter's ID at this building in NYC? Bad things have happened in NYC's past. They check IDs now. Someone go tell Marc Webb this fact.

Also where is that poor guy now? Did he simply get kicked out of the building? Was he arrested? Since his skin is dark he might be detained for as long as they need (Thank you Patriot Act!)

Peter is a real loser for doing that to that poor guy.

Let's go with this. You blatantly troll the RE thread stating it has terrible movies and how much you're a fan of the games. Well, RE actually has 4 movies out in the Alice series with a 5th on the horizon. So you're inept with your film knowledge there. But yet, you claim to be a fan and want to troll that thread under the guise it's a franchise so you can magically guess how bad this new film's gonna be. And then defend your stance because as you say you have every right to be in that thread trolling it with your hate of the movies. And yet, someone who likes Spider-Man but dislikes this film has zero right to post in this thread and is instantly called a troll by you because he's not wholly gay for Garfield's Spider-Man. Think about that for a second. Think.

Gwen is no scientist in the comic. She's an idiot. I would have respected the role more if Emma Stone wasn't trying to be Mary Jane.

Who cared that Captain Stacey died? He's a jerk and a racist the whole movie. Good riddance.

While I have no problem with people not liking the film, realistically with a character so "old" you'll get people divided on everything, but I love how Nolan can take Batman basically keep the basics but change everything else to the point of people accepting it is it's own universe but when Webb plays with the origin tale and changes things similarly people lose their ____? It's not just this poster it's a few people who rail on about how they changed Spider-Man and how could they!?!? Yet Nolan is on his third film of changing Batman mythos with this latest being the one that changes things the most and given the thumbs up?
