Did that happen?

We don't know yet what his Father did to him, if anything or why he possibly did something?

Im not a big fan of Hulk, so I really didn't like that movie anyways, and no it didn't work but that was just a small portion of why the movie sucked so bad also because the movie was long and boring as hell. Im not sure where you got that he was bio-engineered from when he was a little kid, maybe i missed that whole part, ive only seen it once. I think the way its being told now is working, at least for me anyways.

As even you both have said, it didn't play out in the first because they're postponing it for the sequel (it was cut out of the first film). So essentially, you're both agreeing the sequel is gonna suck. :lol

They started the mystery of his origin in this film, which will probably be continued in the sequel, which will be interesting to see.

If his Father did do something to him, IMO it'd be best if it was to save his young life.

Nope your wrong my good man, unless i wrote the i agree that the sequel is going to suck anywhere on this thread you don't have the validation to assume that is what im thinking, but to save you the suspense I think the sequel is gonna kick friggin arse!

So you think the change to a genetically engineered origin is a good idea. :monkey4

:hi5:

I had just seen it a hour before then, but even so it's among my top 5 :pfft:

You've provided zero points to backup how you think this is a carbon copy of raimi's attempt.

Agreed, it was superior to SM1, probably not SM2 though

Ive provided plenty of points why I think The Amazing Spiderman wasn't "Amazing." You just choose to sit in a corner and ignore anyones opinion that doesnt praise this film and say its the best movie ever made.

Ill state why I didn't like the film again, for the 5385675 time;

The plot structure is EXACTLY the same. There was no "untold story." The trailers made it seem like we were getting an all-new "fresh" take on the origin story, but what we got wasn't even close. Everything that couldve made this film be unique seemed to be cut out at the last minute, giving us nothing but a not as good rehash of what we have seen before. Sure there were minor changes, but even the "original" villain had the same inner conversations like green goblin did. I guess giving Spidey web shooters and a new costume makes it completely original and the best superhero movie to date. :lol

@Snoop

You said you didn't like it because it wasn't any different from the original. Well hats wrong, end of.

Even still you've provided no points to how it's the same other than the villain's inner mologue in that one scene :lol :slap

Refer to this....

Wheres the same plot you mention???????

______

Guinessfan doesn't like it based on the Actual film itself, not based on a comparison to the original film. That is valid, saying because it's the same plot or film rehashed isn't valid isn't as it's not the same at all :lecture

Please, if the movie is exactly the same like you claim, prove it with words explaining how.

Well there you go. And at least you have a buddy to go with. Just make sure if Nova offers you popcorn, there isn't a hole in the bottom of the tub and/or the tub isn't in his lap. :nono

So becuase you think it's a bad idea then its 100% factually a bad idea :lol

It's not even made yet but according to you it's bad, that's not trollish at all :slap

I like how you completely ignored the part about cutting the hole in the bottom of the popcorn tub. No denial there, eh? :rotfl

He was like Celtic, he didn't like it before he saw it. His mind was already made up.

Nam likes being a smart ass, but I assure you he's a good person from what i know of him, don't take anything he says to heart.

Nam did you like The Amazing Spiderman?

The CG'd shots of web slinging were great and I liked the webshooters, but overall it felt like I was paying $10 to see a movie I've seen dozens of times already. And the plot of turning everybody into lizard people should've been cut out like the origin aspect. It was so bad, and so completely out of place to have been thought up by a brilliant scientist like Connors that I literally facepalmed. Great plot for a 30-minute cartoon but has no place in a $230,000,000 blockbuster.

I couldn't get the fact that Garfield sounded like Hayden Christensen out of my head and the d-bag hipster attitude he had didn't do the film any favors either. Matter-o-fact, I think it justified the bullying. :lol

Comic accurate though :wink1:

I don't get the whole hipster sterotype thing, seems like it's something older people use to _____ about the younger generation :dunno

Like parents used to _____ about their kids being Hippies or 80's glam rock culture or 90's Beatniks

did you like the movie nam.

Small aspects of it, yes. Overall no. And I saw it right after watching TDKR (which I thought was a let-down as well - despite being a good movie), so that didn't help either.

I don't get the whole hipster sterotype thing, seems like it's something older people use to _____ about the younger generation :dunno

No, it's kids being disrespectful little smartasses because they think it's cool to run around with zero manners treating everybody they don't know like ____.
