As much as i like this new take and new start on SM, this movie like the Raimi films have little to no replay value to me.



(But this might have to do with me getting older i dunno)

Sequel needs to kick all kinds of ass and top the original like SM2. (Which is what i'm hoping for since now the origin is out of the way)

I don't know why i think the 90's cartoon told the coolest stories still! ( That version of PP is actually my favorite)

Celtic thinks he knows about spidey when he doesnt. Vulture and sandman were originally supposed to be the villains for spidey 3 but everyone hates the vulture and even with those two you still had three villlians becuase harry osborn is a must due to the second movie cliffhanger. So since that was such a **** idea the studio wanted venom since he's a very popular villian but venom is very hard to adapt even in the animated shows his origin takes a few episodes.

my problem with venom was his size, he should have been taller/ bulkier, and the symbiote should have been smooth all black like in the comics, hate the web lines on the two outfits

I checked out all of the deleted scenes last night that iTunes provided with TASM and unfortunately, they didn't post them all. There's no addition footage about Peter's parents (unlike what the Blu will offer.) The ones I saw didn't add much to the movie at all, so I may have to go after the Blu release for the 'full effect.'

iTunes did add quite a few featurettes though, so for that, I'm thankful.

I'm a huge fan of spiderman and I always gonna want to see a Spidey movie. But with this movie, the real thing is that despite it's name, it was nothing that really amazed me.
I don't know why, but that's what I really feel. Saddly I didn't like this movie the way I liked Raimy's. Maybe because with Raimy's it was the first time we saw a good Spiderman movie in years, but I think that Amazing Spiderman (too close in time for a reboot) had to be superior to Raimy's Spiderman. Well, for me it wasn't. No matter what, I hope they still keep doing Spiderman movies, and of course a great or really "amazing" second part.

As for exclusives, Target, Walmart and BB all have something going on. Target is probably your best bet from a 'bang for your buck' stand point, with their 5-disc set. Walmart has a bonus disk and a special case, while Best Buy has a steelbook.

Honestly, Target looks to be the way to go, but the Best Buy steelbook is impressive (but again, no special content.)

And Peter being all douchy rather than threatening in the suit, his dancing, the waste of Gwen and Captain Stacy, horrible casting of Venom, Amnesia plotline, Peter/MJ being unhappy around each other and Venom peeling his face back all the time.

There wasn't just one thing wrong with SM3 there was a smorgasburg.

Funny how that would be one of your issues with SM3 and it wasn't even for the whole of the movie, but it's completely acceptable in ASM where we see it through the entirety of the film. Hypocrite.

Can't believe I'm agreeing with you about something related to Spider-Man. I do disagree with the whole "Venom ruined the movie" idea. Harry wasn't given a proper conclusion and if there had been that, I'd be more willing to overlook the other faults perhaps.

But Nam has a point about douchey Peter Parker in ASM. Toby had a symbiote suit corrupting him. What was Garfield's excuse?
