I definitely think the spiderman movies are way better than most other comic movies. The third being the exception of course.

Looks like the rumors were wrong about the "muscles" I'm not sure I'm a fan of the design...reminds me of a little too much BMX than Superhero but he doesn't look bad in it.

The suit is obviously Battle Damaged but notice the clawmarks across the chest? Could be an indication of the villain....I'm interested to see the mask in this....

The more I look at it, the more I like it but still not completely sold. It's definitely different than the Tobey suit.....I'm interested to see the mask at this point.

First shot of the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man costume. It's hard to judge it by one dark, maskless photo, but I think I prefer the Tobey McGuire costume.

Looks ok, although I don't like how the webbing just becomes vertical lines at the ab area. Pretty tough to top the suit from the Raimi flicks.

Not sure about the costume, but his physique is much more Spidey IMO.

Nope, we would be getting Spider-man 4 instead but the script fell through and with Raimi and Maguire uncertain Sony just decided to start fresh taking elements from the old script which I believe was the villain, the Lizard.

So does that mean that Spiderman wont be in the Avengers movie or that they will be creating yet another live action Spiderman character for the Avengers movie?

The Tobe version really nailed the classic costume and I was curious how they'd try to make this one different, and so far, I'm really liking it already.

Spider-Man's film presence is owned by Sony so Marvel Studios cannot use him. No Spidey in The Avengers.

I am still undecided on the new suit, the more I see it the more that I like it but one thing is for sure its so different than the Raimi suit that you'll have a nice display between this figure and the eventual figure from the new one.

See now that's how you update a classic with a modern twist. Some say you can't do that with Superman's suit, but they should hire the designer of this new suit.

You can make out some red on the side of his hip so there must be a "belt" of some sorts.
