Anyone notice the strange resemblance of the new costume to the musical one?

I cant believe that's what they have as the Goblin....Jesus.....that's the worst thing i've ever seen with my eyes.

Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!

Some of you might find this interesting. For those of you that are aware of "The Nostalgia Critic", he just released a video talking about what he believes are the 11 dumbest moments in the Spiderman movies. its a pretty good critique of the series if you ask me:

That guy is a ____ing tool. Not funny the least bit, and it's quite ridiculous that he admits to not reading many Spiderman comic books while he's making fun of bits of the movie that are from the comic books (background characters, stupid dialogue).

God that Green Goblin looks even worse than the one in SM1...

First off, this guy is awsome.

Secondly, the fact that he hasn't read the comics is kind of the idea. He is saying that it is stupid to force characters into the narrative that aren't needed and that the writers ultimatly have nothing to do with simply because they existed in the comics.
Aside from comic fans, no one is going to know or care who these people are.

Same thing with the lame and fake sounding dialouge. These are not comics, they are movies, and just because they were included in the source material is no reason to force them into a medium where they don't work.

Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!

He was wrong about Willem Dafoe. If you dont love that character, you're wrong. And something really hyperbolic.

But still. He was a perfect comic book villian. Those movies were comic book movies. They SHOULD be like the comic. To a point. And they were. I dont know that much about Spidey, but I know for a fact he shouldnt go around killing children, and having pyschological issues with his sexuality....I mean, it WOULD make a more compelling movie.

He was right about some. But totally wrong about most.
