Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!
Also, Spiderman is supposed to be in New York but those pics look more like LA to me. *Shudders at memories of the old Spidey TV movie that was shot in LA* Where are all the tall buildings and major skyscrapers?
I was watching some Raimi movies recently and while his writing ain't the best but his visual style is definitely in a class of its own. He basically laid the blueprint for the web swinging shots that every other Spidey movies after him will have no choice but to emulate.
If only he were given free reign on Spidey 4, we wouldn't have to deal with this farce. Raimi already laid the backbone for a Lizard storyline but no, Sony wanted a Vulture and a Vultress. I am glad Raimi has the balls to walk out of it. He was really miserable after the experience in Spiderman 3, which was basically a giant toy commercial.
Mainly the suit and other things. The suit is a major mishap to me and I am not very confident on his choice of actors. To be honest, Garfield is a little to 'pretty' for Peter Parker. PP has always been the awkward geeky genius but so far, Garfield looks more like the emo Edward Cullen loner. Are you solely referring to the suit?
