Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!

I actually had a dream last night that I saw this Spider-Man reboot films....and thought it was fantastic.

Not sure why, it was pretty random. It was worth noting that the beginning had a montage sequence with a Toby Maguire voice over of Spider-Man in the original suit and scenes from the original films (Ben, Aunt May, Wrestling, Green Goblin, Doc Ock etc . Stuff about "passing the torch" and things like that and after it showed the Maguire Spider-Man swinging off into the NYC horizon it panned up to the new Garfield Spider-Man, and the new rebooted story started with a new title sequence.

Awesome!

Regarding he web shooters: In some of the comics, didn't he wear a backpack containing the web goo?

Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!

The "goo" was always head in cartridges that slipped in to the webshooters and were kept in reserves on a belt around his waist under his suit. The backpack he wore usually contained his civilian clothes as he went around but sometimes he just held the backpack temporarily and "stuck" it to a building high up to retrieve later.

Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!

He did use that ridiculous web-shooter cannon in (I believe) the Revenge of the Sinister Six story, which had a backpack device.

Re: Spider-Man: The Reboot!

He also used a Spider-Buggy for awhile but I certainly don't expect that to end up in the film. :lol

Seems kind of ridiculous that that much webbing could be contained in a few cartridges. But I guess one has to suspend disbelief when watching a comic book movie.

:lol It's always funny to see what comic fans will accept and criticize. We're all guilty of it, so that's not directed at you Maglor.
