The more things change the same...

1919 Diego Vega- Tales of persecution, ...I saw my friends, the frailes, annoyed and robbed, I saw soldiers beat a native who was my friend, And then I determined to play this game. In secret, I practiced horsemanship and learned how to handle a blade- One half of me was the languid Don Diego you all knew, and the other half was the Curse of Capistrano I hoped one day to be.
-And then the time came, and my work began. It is a peculiar thing to explain, señores. The moment I donned cloak and mask, the Don Diego part of me fell away. My body straightened, new blood seemed to course through my veins, my voice grew strong and firm, fire came to me!

2022 Robert Pattinson - There is an element of mysticism in it as well, in kind of how much power he imbues into the suit, I mean he really thinks when he puts on the suit, he is no longer Bruce, ....In this one he believes it, he believes that when he puts on the suit, he disappears. I thought it was kind of interesting that Bruce Feels as himself, impotent to help anybody, and avenge his parents. He needs to completley embrace his alter ego [to do so].

You really not excited for this? :monkey2

Potentially the best Batman film ever. :panic:

I'm not super excited about it no, but I'm not a huge Batman fan either. I'm indifferent. I just thought it was funny that they cast the Twilight guy as Batman and then painting his face up like Brandon Lee on The Crow was just low hanging fruit to poke fun at. I also thought it was funny when the Twilight guy refused to get in shape as some sort of woke political statement on body shaming then later apparently got mocked into following through with the training. I might watch it depending on reviews but I really don't care either way.

That “refuse to workout “ thing was false. Someone already gave you an article on that .

the problem is that we don't know the context of anything.
if thus movie sucks I won't apologize for it. I will be the first one moking it. I have to allegiance to defend a bad movie.

but we don't know the context to anything. who knows. the movie might have a few surprises, good and bad surprises.

twilight is not a bad story either. Edward Cullen is actually a great character.
the movies added bad actors and bad music and added trendy haircuts and cheesy clothing,

for example, vampires weren't supposed to sparkle. they were supposed to look like marble in the sun, shine like a statue. like made of glass. they were supposed to shine, not sparkle.
you might call that stupid, but the movie ruined that moment.
it was never supposed to look like glitter.

twilight gets hate from people that never knew anything about it.
that's dumb.
it's very dumb to hate on something you know nothing about.
that's D U M B
