I didn't get anything from that period either. But if a character I really want gets a figure, in a costume I love, I don't think disliking the flickt itself would have any effect on me. I'm expecting the Watts F4 flick(s) to be average, but if the costumes/casting are good, I'm obviously in. As I've said before, I approach these with a comic mindset. The closest the costume/casting is to the source, the better. The flicks/adaptations don't much influence my purchases of them. It's a new IP that can get me to buy something solely because of how much I enjoyed it.
I'm torn between getting this or waiting for an updated sequel suit. I just love the collar and wouldn't want to miss it, but the year's too packed. I already have the new TDKR BaleMan on PO (I got him with the expectation that a 3.0 Joker isn't far behind), so getting another Batman over a new character is kinda illogical. On the other hand they're already slacking behind, so who even knows what they'll even make, regardless of the movies/shows that'll air.
You, me, and everybody else. I still don't know why they haven't done one. Rights issues? Maybe they're fine licensing him out to statues, but not figures.
It's 2022 and HT still making Nolan stuff. If the Batman film is a hit, then I suspect there will be a Pattison 2.0 and 3.0 in the next 5 to 10 years. If the film just comes and goes, then who knows. HT made a bunch of BB and TDK Batman figures, or so it seems. Even Battfleck got several figures. HT seems to be into reissuing stuff now too, so yeah, I doubt that the Patt Bat will be a one and done deal for HT. In fact, they might even improve it with a 2.0.
Yeah, fair point there. Might as well wait and see what the sequel suit looks like. Get the new characters first. I've found that waiting's the hardest, but also most logical, thing to do with HT.
Who knows? I'd take any Phoenix Joker figure. It'd be pretty wild if they made a DaFoe Joker as well. He said he wants to be in the sequel and play an imposter. It'd be great to have both him and Phoenix back-to-back. And I'm not even that big of a Joker fan. I think I'd put them in my Movie Shelf though, next to Bateman and the such; Ledger's just fine for my Bat-Shelf Joker (hurry up and do put 3.0 up for PO already HT).
