I'm operating on Battinson Edge 24/7; I don't need to be unleashed. I'm always on the prowl, for I'm a hungry beast.

He's literally me. Time to add him to the ol' collage.

The exposed engine doesn't seem very practical or safe. I'm no car expert, but can the car explode if you shot that engine or is that metal strong enough to take the hits?
yea no…..I mean if you can even hit a moving car.
The radiator is thw most sensitive spot, along with the air intake.

With a car like this one, I would be more worried about a U-joint shooting through the floorboard then putting a doghouse on/over the block. More than likely it’s air cooled if he were smart.

I suppose there's validity to something being 'too dark'. I myself enjoy a bit of lightness to balance the darkness. It's one of the reasons the MCU has fared so well. Stories work best with "hills and valleys".

I'll judge the film on its own... but if its grim and glum and dour for the entire 3 hours then I can understand wanting to get out of there after a while. Just like when something's too light and becomes silly and childish. I would hope the Catwoman character would add some sarcastic humor and a bit of "lightness" to the story... but that may be asking too much from Zoe.

Zorro needs a Joker. Mexican Joker 🤭
He has one.
Long before the Joker, in the original McCulley pulps, Zorro's main villain, is the horribly scarred for life Captain and literal Crime boss of Los Angeles, who's face Zorro permanently scars "marks" with a "Z" in the first story.

Who forever blames, and becomes psychotically obsessed with pursuing, plotting and destroying Zorro.

In fact (just like Joker's first appearance, he is then stabbed in a duel and presumed dead) yet in the next story he surprisingly survived, returns to exact his revenge, now scarred for life.

All these reviews are such a joke. How can one declare "one of the best comic book movies ever", to other reviews that say it is bloated and way too long and uninteresting. One UK reviewer said it is so dismal, that out of the 3 hour run time it is raining for over an hour. And you only ever see the sun when it is either setting or rising. There is no daylight in the entire movie. I think that's taking the whole "Dark" aspect a little extreme..:lol

And then we get this crap....

Zoë Kravitz Says She Portrays Catwoman as Bisexual in ‘The Batman’

SO Kravitz herself decides that Catwoman is bisexual. So she can leave her mark on the character... :slap Good to know that the actor decides the sexuality of a character now. Not the writers or director. FFS...

Maybe I'll find out in 45 days when it hits HBOMax. That is if I even care by then...

Catwoman has teetered the sexual line for a while and if I remember right she came out as bisexual in Genevieve Valentine’s Catwoman run which was part of the new 52. It’s really nothing new.

In Batman Year One, Selina Kyle was a prostitute dominatrix who lived and worked in the slums of Gotham City's East End. Here she lived in a small apartment with a youth prostitute named Holly Robinson who she kept under her protection.

She's a sexually charged character. She always has been. She uses sex/sex appeal to the extreme. That's been her dynamic with Batman for a loong time.

I don't care if she is in the movie. But Kravitz decided herself to portray her as bisexual. Not the writers or even Matt Reeves.

Reeves continued, “So I don’t think we meant to go directly in that way, but you can interpret it that way for sure".

Ah, okay I see where you’re coming from. You aren’t sure about Kravitz making that decision and not the people who penned it. That makes sense, but at the same time it’s an actor/actress’ job to put effort into making a character their own as well as following what’s already been before.

Look at how different Phoenix’s Joker is compared to the comics/films before him. I’m not saying her performance will be on that level, but a lot of different things went into that version of the character thanks to Phoenix having such a free range and taking inspiration from different sources and his own personality. As long as it’s not in your face I’m sure it will be a very little detail. I’d rather have the actor make that decision than the higher ups making sure she’s that way to please a certain audience, and in return it being shoved into our face and not feeling natural.
