That's a bit unfair. There are girls on TikTok (and before that Instagram, and Vine, and I guess there's OnlyFans too) who are hotter than any celebrity. Every comic-book dream you've had can be found there. That goes for men too. I'm talking about some real-life statue blokes. It's not a fair comparison. It hurts more when you realise those are "normal" people...

Bale's "kills" are mostly accidental, like when he refused to execute that criminal, but then he accidently blows up Ras al Ghul's house and kills like 60 people, including the fake Ras.

I’ll give him this, the Bale Batman did seem to try to stick to the no killing rule. The “but I don’t have to save you,” from “Begins” seemed a bit like he was exploiting a loophole in his own rule. But on the other hand, Bale Batman didn’t wholesale slaughter criminals like a couple other on screen Batmen.

But think about it Jaws it doesn’t make any sense that a vigilante would think that the law and politicians would be able to associate themselves with him out in public like that even though he was performing public safety duties.

Yes he saved the mayor but he was also a law breaker performing illegal surveillance and a practicing vigilante.

He made them all look hypocritical and law breakers themselves by his presence alone out there in public with them all.

Thematically to the plot it is dumb and contradictory.

I guess it just didn't bother me. No more then the Bats walking around crime scenes with all the cops standing around.

Once I accepted that this Batman did not always hide in the shadows I was ready to accept the ending.

Well yes I also thought about him being with the cops at the crime scenes but I looked at that being behind the scenes and it was with a lot of pushback from the cops with only Gordon being on his side, that I thought worked well.

Out in daylight with firemen and medics and national guard hell no lol

Ah, so that GCPD show is on hold and the Arkham series seems to have taken it's place. Might be why Joker/Riddler scene was kept in there?

I caught the movie over the wkend, enjoyed it for the most part despite the the few stupid Woke moments that pulled me out (Will they never learn).
Patterison was great as Bats, possible the best movie version yet...but damn he's one dour, miserable looking sod as Bruce Wayne. Hopefully he'll evolve throughout the coming films.
All the other performances were excellent too but i loved Farrell's take on Penguin and look forward to seeing more of him.
Looking forward as well to seeing what Barry Keoghan does with the Joker...interesting choice that has me very excited for the sequel's.

What I like about the sour vibe is that as soon as the costume went on he walked with perfect posture like a tank full off confidence the complete opposite of his sour demeanor as Bruce where as Bale was cocky and playboy as Bruce and confident as Batman so the dichotomy really wasn’t there.

So with The Batman he is depressed(Bruce)/confident(Batman).

It makes sense. Villains are cooler and more interesting than good men.

It's like my idea for a **** Tracy show, it would be as much about the villains as it would be about DT. Collin Farrell even looked like a realistic version of a **** Tracy villain.
