Which would you prefer?

Again we have a height issue here...

:D

I would have to choose the Hot Toys Batman....There seems to be more detail in the belt and the cod peice seems to fit better....also I think the head sculpt looks a little better, but that could just be the angle that you are looking at them...and the most obvious is that the HT Batman is taller!

Bigger is better in most cases, but the cape on the both of them looks way too big. :monkey1

Hot Toys, hands down, the Med head and chest are way too small for that Iconic figure, plus I'm sure the HT will have better accessories knowing HT.

Not at all concerned about the height issue

well....price is also an issue. They both look good but if HT is cheaper I would get that one. But if Medicom is $100 less, go for Medicom. :D

HOT TOYS.AND I'M SAYING IT AGAIN: MEDICOM IS OVERATED: TOO EXPENSIVE AND TOO SMALL..

OMG, Jesse and his avatar are back!

I haven't seen you two on the board for a long time, at least not around Star Wars or LOTR.

:rotfl Awwwwweee I was missed.

I have been spending some time away but things should be calming done more at work, giving me a little more free time to bless this board with my presance. :D

Good to see you back.

Anyway, I think its pretty clear that HT is superior in almost every aspect. The cape does look a bit long but isn't that how he wore it? I remember it dragging around corners and stuff.

I know a lot of you will disagree but I'd like to see Sideshow do the Batman villains from the Burton/Schumacher films.

Nicholson Joker
DeVito Penguin
Pfeiffer Catwoman
Carey Riddler
Jones Two-Face
Thurman Ivy
yes, even Ar-nuld Mr. Freeze

The Burton ones especially, as they had great costume designs.

Definately Hot Toys. I don't see why Medicom is so "popular." They suck and their prices are rediculous. We got a Great Jedi Luke for about 1/3 or more of the cost of the crappy Medicom one.

Again, I think the support for Medicom comes from those who spent the money and now are faced with better product for a lot less. Its called buyer's remorse.

Hot Toys by far with all the points above and the gold of the belt looks far better than the plastic looking gold of Medicoms. Medicoms is way to short, is that Robin?

Damn it! I can't believe I'm gonna be forced to buy a third Batman Begeins fig. Just when I thought I could put this character behind me and move on to something else.:monkey2

Is this photo real or a composite? I can't see how it could be real since the HT one isn't out yet. And let's see Takara's in there too.

But the Medicom one is pretty short. If the prices hold true to what I'm hearing, HT will be significantly cheaper as well. I'm a sucker though - I 'll get them all.

I would have to go with the Hot Toys version. The height is better. The detail on the belt and armor is better. The face sculpt...ehhh...I can't decide. Lastly, the price on the Hot Toys version is likely to be better than the Medicom.

While I've never actually held a Medicom in my hands (with the exception of a Stormtrooper...but that's a pretty bland figure regardless of who makes it), I'd have to agree that they are overrated and way too expensive. Just seeing the side-by-side pictures of Jedi Knight Luke proves that. Medicom looks like a frickin' toy!!!
