UPDATE: We thought it was suspicious at first and now Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that there will not be a "Marvel One-Shot" short film included on the Captain America: The Winter Soldier home video release. The original story follows:


Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced this morning that their Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be available on Digital 3D, Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on August 19 and on Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand on September 9. You can check out the cover art for the release and additional content below!


Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and starring Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie as The Falcon, with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Captain America: The Winter Soldier arrives on 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack and Digital HD armed with bonus features, including:

Finally; I've been wanting to check this out for a long time now but could never bring myself to buy the DVDs; I came so close to picking up Season 1 for $15 on Black Friday, but, for whatever reason, I got something else. Frankly, I'm glad I did. Here's hoping for The Wire next.

I'm currently watching The Wire and so far it's incredible. I'm liking a lot more than True Detective and I really liked TD.

The Sopranos is the greatest television show of all time in my opinion.
