I was asking about 3D quality... but I've heard bad things about the movie as well. I thought the first two were snore-fests.

Oh, most definately if you hated the first 2 you will absolutely hate the 3rd.

3D was good.

I plan on seeing the extended versions on the big screen in October.

I definitely know I couldn't sit through AUJ again. Maybe I could get through DoS, as I'm enthralled by that dragon and his voice... and the gabby spiders (what was that? what was that?)... but if I don't like BOTFA then I recant the first two sentences.

It's hard to be as rich and brilliant as LOTR was.

Hobbit trilogy doesn't come close to the brilliance that is LOTR.

That being said I found the Hobbit EE trilogy to still be entertaining enough and my *** will be in the seat for the BOFA EE release.

I wonder what that will do to the bluray release though.
