The Ultimate Edition is the R rated version.

Oooh yes. Hopefully more blood and bleakness. Can't wait!

I'm betting on a triple dip, regular Blu, 3D, 4K HDR, Its tough being a fan. It would be nice if studios would start bundling Blu, 3D and 4K + Digital together.
Yeah, you can pretty much guarantee all those releases. Disney will milk the Star Wars franchise in your homes and at their parks.

A blu ray, blu ray 3D, and 4K bundle sounds like it'll set you back about 60 bucks. :lol

Hell, there's three different versions at Best Buy... which is the best to get? Any recommendations?

I don't really care about 'steelbooks' or stuff like that, but I would like as many 'behind the scenes' bits as I can get.

No doubt. :lol I'm hoping TFA will be out in 4K by the time I get a full 4K setup going. In the meantime I'll rent the blu from Family Video.

Right. I'm holding off on the 4K gear for now. The good news is they're already starting to come down in price.

I've been eyeing the JVC X550. It gets great reviews. I checked it out in person at a Best Buy Magnolia store (under less than optimal lighting conditions) and it still looked great. It's probably a good idea to wait a while though, as I'm sure as soon as more native 4K pj's are released and UHD's are the norm the prices will drop. Still, under $4k isn't terrible. The guy offered it to me for $3,699.

That's not bad. I think I will wait. By the time it is truly worth it, the prices will be more reasonable.

I want a TV that will handle both 3D and 4K. I know they can't together, but I want one that can play both. :D
