3D blu-rays are mixed in with the 2D titles now, but seemingly only recent releases.

In 3 weeks we will know the fate of 3D TVs.

I just can't see how they would continue to abandon it on the TV side yet still continue to release 3D movies.

Passive 3D is already being used for home and it's awesome hence why you can use your Real 3D glasses from the theater at home.

Active 3D needs to go away, that **** hurts lol.

Passive 3D is inexpensive, I have it on every TV in my house.

Wait, what? What's happening in 3 weeks?

CES 2017.

We'll see if manufactures will be bringing back 3D on their 2017 models because they pretty much abandoned the technology for 2016.

Fingers crossed that it will have a big comeback on all models across the board.

Both are Blu-ray, you just need special players to handle their codec.
