Well that won't take long considering I already have three TFA blu-rays (first 2D release plus additional 2D and 3D discs in the Collector's Set.

lol

While you are 100% correct about the overkill I do prefer to see technology progress forward instead of becoming stagnant, not that 4K is a bad place for it to stall mind you.

Best Buy had a demo of the Lego Movie in 4K. The damn thing looked practically 3D just on picture quality alone. I can't imagine what the standard and affordable TV will look like 10 years from now.

This guy was complaining to me this morning that he wants helmet free VR.

I told him to go walk around the Ferrari dealership if he wants a virtual experience without wearing a helmet.

There was a tech fair here at work a couple months ago and I was able to play through a SW scenario that was created by Lucasfilm. It was really impressive. I can't swing a lightsaber against Stormtrooper lasers for ****, though. :lol

Best Buy's Dr. Strange steel books are up for pre-order...and there are separate steelbooks for the 2D version and the 3D version, with a price difference of $5 ($29.99 for 2D and $34.99 for 3D). Hope there's a price drop when it releases:

Well LG just stole the show at CES with their W7 4K OLED that is no thicker than your house key, or like 2 coins stacked together as in 3.85 mm (0.15 inches).

So thin it can only go on a wall.

So thin the 65" weighs only 18lbs lol.

$10,000 for the 65"
$20,000 for the 77"

That was my favorite Atari 2600 game. :lol

First time I ever played it was at a friend's house and we'd rotate turns with one person playing Adventure while the other had Luke battle the dionaga in the Kenner Death Star playset. :lol

Wasn't that game called "Adventure"?

Yep!

I remember playing the demo in stores, never owned that one though.

So deprived...

;)

Man kids have no idea how good they have it today.

That's why i'm a tech-toy junkie, I lived thru the dark times. :lol

Today my son has to suffer with a 4K tv, xbox 4k, ipad, iphone and hot toys. :lol
