Noticed BB will have Blade Runner 4K for $15 on Black Friday. This has been impossible to find anywhere besides Amazon for $40, so I wonder if they will actually have more than a few copies on hand.

I think what he meant by "fake news" was that it doesn't rate next to his beloved 3D. Now if it was 8K or higher...

I actually think that films like BR are best if viewed every 3-5 years as opposed to several times a year or what have you. Makes them more fun to "rediscover."

Certainly needs time to breathe, helps to keep the appreciation for it.

There are some movies I "appreciate" so much, that I've never watched them, some are still in their shrink-wrap.

I've watched BR only a couple of times and I consider it one of my favorite movies ever, I definitely don't feel the need to watch it multiple times. When I buy steelbooks or limited editions I only get them because I like to have that, I don't even open them sometimes.

So it appears a 4K/UHD release of Stranger Things season 1 is coming out at Target either on November 28th or December 5th. A guy at blu-ray.com was able to get ahold of a copy early in NYC.

Nice! And just yesterday I was looking at the Target blu-ray set. Glad I passed!
