In one fell sweep they turned the most notorious bounty hunter in the galaxy into a lamer version of Edward Furlong from T2.

"Actually the mayor would like tribute from you."

"What?"

"Shall I kill him?"

"No, you just can't go around killing people who insult you."

"Why."

"Because you can't."

"Why."

"Because you just can't. Now we're going to walk around Mos Espa in broad daylight, and I order you to take your helmet off."

(Fennec clenches teeth but silently obeys)

The "He's no good to me dead" line takes on a whole new meaning now, doesn't it? :chase

"You should let them carry you, the Hutts were paraded around on a litter wherever they went."

"Uh Fennec I literally saw otherwise with my own eyes."

This poser doesn't sync with *any* previous version of Boba Fett. Not the OT, not the PT, not even the freaking SE's. :slap

They should update the CGI in that scene, and also include Boba Fett walking into frame without his helmet.

Dear lord, don't give them any ideas. Can you imagine a Disney OT Special Edition?
Not only would Han not shoot first, he wouldn't shoot at all. Greedo's shot ricochets straight back off the wall and kills him.

Lando and Lobot have a couple of extra "knowing glances" on Bespin.

Firespray Leia chokes Jabba wearing a cgi pants suit.

Ahsoka shows up everywhere.

And yes, *every* shot of Boba not referenced in BoBF will be with helmet off.

It's unlikely but I actually wouldn't be shocked if Disney someday updated the OT with their own SE version. *sigh*

My issue with so much of Fett not wearing the helmet is that this show is treating it like he considers the helmet to be tactical gear, and so doesn't need to wear it in social settings. But then the show seemingly forgets that pretty much *every* setting is a tactical situation for a crime boss who just assassinated the previous guy. :slap It's not like Bib would've kept the throne without alliances and dangerous loyalists.

More importantly, the no helmet thing makes zero logical sense with respect to the context of his OT appearances. He was wearing it on the star destroyer in a non-tactical bounty briefing. He was wearing it in Jabba's palace when all they were doing was listening to music and socializing. And most importantly, he was wearing it in ESB while all alone piloting Slave I.

Having it on all the time made sense. Fett would have multiple advantages by keeping his appearance masked so that he could have a discreet alternate identity. All of that goes out the window if his face is being seen all the time like it is in this show.

Inconsistent how? What do we really know about Boba Fett, other than his screen time in ESB and ROTJ?
See ajp's post above.

Greedo's blast hits the wall, awakens a Ray Harryhausen monster sleeping on the other side which then reaches through the wall and slams Greedo into the table. Han then turns himself in to Jabba instead of collecting the cash for Alderaan.

I have to assume that walking back with that kid was with a confident intent of securing a fellowship with the Tuskens, but then what? I can't imagine he wouldn't immediately go to wherever the Slave I was and get himself either equipped or off world to set the wheels in motion to get his life back. If they end up providing adequate explanations for his behavior, fine; but I'm definitely not putting a lot of these pieces together. Hope it ends up worth it to get to wherever this is going.
