I am thinking this might be the case - we've seen the swoop gang and the dinner scene. Not sure how excited I am about either of those scenes with the way the first one played out.
I was originally all in on The Boba Bunch but with that dinner scene we may have some opportunities for Leave It To Boba.

This show needs a laugh track!

I'd say Boba Knows Best but then it's satire. :chase

I don't think he took it off after he put it back on in the Mandalorian. Only when the battle was over and he showed Mando his chain code.

When we saw him in the last two episodes, (mostly just piloting the Anakin One) he had the helmet on at all times. Including when Koska Reeves kicked his ***.
He took it off again the very next episode when they went and got Mayfeld.

In the EU it was kind of implied that the helmet was his face / identity and he never wanted anyone to see him without it. It makes sense because his true face is that of every clone in the galaxy but the mask was him and the reputation he had carved out for himself. The armour was also his personal connection to his father, one that separated him from every other clone.

Even if you don't subscribe to the PT, Dengar (after finding Boba in the sand beside the dead Sarlaac) was fearful that Boba would eventually feel the need to kill him because he saw his human face. Dengar had seen Boba at his weakest, just flesh and blood under the armour but as soon as Boba regained consciousness Dengar was afraid of the look in Boba's eyes which was just as intimidating as the T visor.

Yeah, they went out of their way to never show his face in the comics.....

right up until the fateful day that AOTC was "gifted" upon us all.

Then they had Boba Fett unmasked in the comics for the very first time, with Temuera's face but all scarred up. So the idea of him being scarred was around for a long time and it had nothing to do with Sarlacc damage.

Then again, I might be remembering incorrectly, but I'm fairly sure that scene was in the Tales of Star Wars anthology comic, and that was considered "non-canon." They'd have goofy stories every now and then, like a Yoda/Mace Windu parody of Pulp Fiction, or Indiana Jones finding the remains of Han Solo and Chewie. You know....FUN stuff that Disney doesn't like.

But there was a Boba Fett vs Darth Vader mini series that was IN continuity, and it showed the origin of the dent in Fett's helmet as a blaster bolt deflected back at Fett from Vader's lightsaber.

Not sure what the current continuity claims is the source of the dent.

I found it. It's in Star Wars Tales #18.

Fairly sure this is the first time the comics ever showed Boba Fett's face.

The art is even worse than I remembered. It looks nothing like Temeura. But the dialogue states that he sees his father's face staring back at him.

I don't know what's worse...the pseudo/cheap attempt at manga style everyone was doing at the time, or just tracing movie stills like they do now? Eh....the art's not good, but at least it's hand-drawn. I have zero respect for tracers.
