Broke and happy
I actually felt bad for little cgi Logan seeing his latino wanna be dad Yango fly off to get his head chopped off.

That was the underlying plot thread of MandoI get what they’re trying to do with this new take on Fett.
Strip the bad *** armor exterior and expose the real warrior underneath.
The gear, helmet and weapons doesn’t make a warrior it’s his desire to be someone.
If the crime boss thing doesn't pan out, he's going to open an "authentic" Tusken food chain, and Tusken clothes line.Boba Fett is racist. He is appropriating the Tusken culture as a non-Tusken being. Wearing their robes. Carrying their sticks. Dancing their dances. Then he degrades the robes by wearing armor over them. The plight of the peaceful Tusken’s needs to stop now Disney!

#NotMyFett
#TuskenPower
Thematically it’s a solid foundation but the execution has been weak and who even asked for that to be the foundation for a series about Fett to begin with. That was the underlying plot thread of Mando
Which ends with him removing his helmet in front of everyone.
Earl - Fett
Randy- Dengar
Joy- Fennec
Darnell - Bossk
Catalina - Madam Garsa
?
And Slave-1 needs a mismatched door panel and hood.
It doesn't seem like this is the kind of thing this Fett would do. Which is the main problem. It's early days yet.2nd episode was better than the first, but its not quite a righting of the ship quite yet.
I think a big problem is if Fett's return in Mando was meant to be a "pilot" for what a Boba Fett show could be then they feel like 2 different characters.
Wookiee dude was pretty cool so I'm hoping that foreshadowed confrontation will be good. Fett better have some new wookiee braids by the end of this.

If we don't, then there was no point introducing him to us. Hopefully something goes down between the two of them and we see the Wookies head (or Boba's) on a stick.but im mostly concerned we won't get the epic fight between them that we should get.
I'm just ready and hoping for an episode were BF is armored up (and helmeted) for most of the time.
Yeah I had issues with that as well. Insanely difficult and unrealistic shot for Tuskens to hit. A Jedi? Yeah? Clone marksman? Maybe? Tusken? Nope.Shall we continue with the gross inconsistencies.
One second the Tusken is Female brigade are helpless victims next second they are Call of Duty expert snipers taking out baddies behind small window slits on a train moving 500mph. Why even assault the train just use your expert snipers!
About that train!
It was going 8,000mph across the desert YET when it crashed it stopped right next to the Tusken platoon who arrived at the train instantly WTF lol
That train should’ve been at Chicago by then!
If a Mos Espa train departs the train station at 5pm going 8,000mph with 25 Pike gangsters onboard and 19 more jump onto the train at stop # 2 how many gangsters were in the train at stop # 3 lol
I need HT to release Jar Jar Binks with extendable tongue to remind me of the True Meaning of Star Wars.I need HT to release Snowspeeder Luke to remind me of the True Meaning of Star Wars.
They must have received the same training as Luke.Yeah I had issues with that as well. Insanely difficult and unrealistic shot for Tuskens to hit. A Jedi? Yeah? Clone marksman? Maybe? Tusken? Nope.
Mando worked well as a weekly show. Self contained stories with the overall story running in and out where required. The problem with this show is that it’s clearly a slow burn, and has a somewhat more traditional linear plot, and we’re only getting one episode a week.
Whereas in Mando every episode can stand on it’s own, most of them are really their own self contained adventure only really touching on the main plot with Gideon etc. when absolutely necessary, which works better for a weekly release imo.
If they’d released both BOBF Chapters 1 & 2 last week I think it would have worked a lot better. I’ll like rewatch the show all in one once it’s complete to see if it works better that way.
70 min episode all flashbacks, get us up to speed then full throttle crime boss Boba for the remaining 6 episodes.Mando worked well as a weekly show. Self contained stories with the overall story running in and out where required.
Chapters 1 and 2 should have been an extended Chapter 1. Trim a few things throughout and have one solid 70 minute opener.
Pretty much. Sounds like a good idea. Better than what we got. It kills the hype.70 min episode all flashbacks, get us up to speed then full throttle crime boss Boba for the remaining 6 episodes.
I never thought a Wookie could be made to look menacing but they succeed in that department.Parts of this show are pretty boring and/or silly (lizard climbs into his nose to give him a hallucinogenic vision. . .really?), but I'm enjoying it so far for what it is. I've always felt that a big part of Boba's charm was the fact that he was so mysterious. And now he's running around without his helmet most of the time, the horrible, prequel backstory is front and center, and we even have to find out how he got his black robes and weapon that he first appeared with in Mandolorean.
So. . .all that doesn't do him a big favor in the mysteriousness department. But again, it's pretty fun overall.
I like the idea of us exploring how Boba Fett develops political and leadership skills, which shouldn't be in his wheelhouse as a lifelong bounty hunter. He does appear to be a bad-*** that commands a level of respect, which is nice. But so far, he hasn't shown himself to be truly ruthless when needed, which is a bit counter to his character from the original movies. I know it's tough for the writers to portray a character heroically who may be willing to kill or torture, but that would feel a bit more authentic than what we are seeing here thus far. A strong crime lord time needs to instill some fear and a deterrent threat (the basis of the respect Boba wants) to build and maintain power. But maybe that will be coming later. He's also growing as a person in some ways. I also like how he became part of the tribe of the sand people through adversity and showing his worth and compassion for the sand youngling guy.
Not as good as Mandolorean but I'm optimistic that the show will get better. Dark Chewbacca dude looks pretty nifty, and I look forward to seeing them throw down.
