Shall we continue with the gross inconsistencies.

One second the Tusken is Female brigade are helpless victims next second they are Call of Duty expert snipers taking out baddies behind small window slits on a train moving 500mph. Why even assault the train just use your expert snipers!

About that train!

It was going 8,000mph across the desert YET when it crashed it stopped right next to the Tusken platoon who arrived at the train instantly WTF lol

That train should’ve been at Chicago by then!

If a Mos Espa train departs the train station at 5pm going 8,000mph with 25 Pike gangsters onboard and 19 more jump onto the train at stop # 2 how many gangsters were in the train at stop # 3 lol
While not an inconsistency, but one of the many redundant plot elements for me was that child Tusken giving the flashing sign that the train is coming. The Tusken pans 1/2 inch to the right and sees the train, pretty much in the same view... I guess the child Tusken feels like he helped out this way?

I never thought a Wookie could be made to look menacing but they succeed in that department.

THAT being said this Boba Fett is right out of a police squad movie with him going around trying to act all mafia tough and people laughing at him to his face it’s embarrassing to watch lol

Look at me, respect me, i’m BOBA FETT!!!!

Cut to little kids bursting out laughing!

Watching him run around in his white skivvies is pretty damn funny.
Wait until he rips the head off the evil Wookie and starts playing football with it in front of the kids.

If those spoilers were real...

...Black Krrsantan the Wookiee. Black gives Boba a brutal beatdown similar to the Mudhorn battering Din in season 1 of the Mandalorian. Boba gives it his all though and gains black's respect.

They must have received the same training as Luke.

I gave up on consistency when it comes to shooting accuracy in the SW Universe. For example: " ... and these blast points, too accurate for sand people. Only Imperial stormtroopers are so precise." Only a crazy old hermit living in the barren wastelands of Tatooine would ever use Imperial Stormtrooper and precise in the same sentence. :lol

Not if they are so precise in not hitting what most people would assume is the target. Maybe they were always meant to never hit anything vital. Palpatine's ultimate galaxy control. Give the people false hope that they are better than the stormtroopers when going into battle. :rotfl

I need HT to release Jar Jar Binks with extendable tongue to remind me of the True Meaning of Star Wars.
You shut yo' dirty ***** mowf!

Actually ... I've long had certain ... ideas ... for a Jar Jar custom. You just had me check and there is a 6" Black Series version. Perhaps the time has come at last ... 😐

I got that TBS Jar Jar for $10 on sale. I always try to get one of each of the major characters to fill out my Clone Wars, Dark Times, and OT TBS shelves, so for that price, I figured why not and put him on the TCW shelf. It is actually quite a nice figure. Fits in well with the other comedic figures on the shelf of R2, Hondo, 3PO.

I don't see a lot of people here that were also in the Twin Peaks: The Return thread, but that show's situation was almost exactly what we got here.

We were sold on the idea of finally seeing Agent Cooper return to solve the mystery that had been left hanging for TWENTY FIVE YEARS.

And when the show came back........we did not get Agent Cooper. We got Kyle MacLachlan playing two characters: Mr. C, who was an evil doppelganger of Cooper, and Dougie, who was a brain-damaged clone of Cooper who was played for silly , slapstick laughs.

It. Was. Maddening. Waiting week after week, thinking, is this it? Is REAL Cooper finally gonna show up?? And the episode would have a five minute sequence of Dougie getting hit in the face with a baseball instead.

We all got Lynch'd bad.

Cooper finally returned...at the very end of the 15th episode. Then he got to be really cool and act how we wanted to see all along for exactly ONE episode, and then it was over.

It really sucked.

I will say that I don't "LOVE" Twin Peaks: The Return but there's enough good stuff that it warrants a rewatch every now and then. But it was just the worst waiting through those episodes and Lynch purposely denying the audience what we wanted, and finally giving it to us just to take it away again at the end. However, when rewatching it, it's really not that bad. It was those agonizing week-long waits that made it worse and harder to accept.

I suspect were getting "Lynch'd" here as well. The flashbacks WILL continue, all the way up to the 7th and final episode, because the flashbacks are the main storyline. The flashbacks ARE "the book of Boba Fett." The "current day Daimyo" story is essentially the b-plot and nothing major or significant will come from it. Most likely it'll end on the same shot it started on, with him on the throne, with or without Fennec at his side.

And just like Twin Peaks, if they'd just give it all to us in one go instead of these weekly drip feeds, it wouldn't be as bad.

I'm only basing this on what we've seen so far, but that's already 2/7 and they seem FAR more invested in the flashbacks than the Daimyo plotline. Would have been easier to take if all 7 eps released at once.

And I've said this before, but I do think two of the reasons Mando was so successful was because A: it had that emotional hook with Baby Yoda, and B: the "adventure of the week" format was a lot more successful with standalone stories than trying to tell one long story in serial format.

Remember how the season one finale was split in two parts and ended on a cliffhanger?? That was terrible...they never should have pulled that crap.

Without Grogu, I don't see have high hopes for Mando season 3. I predict Mando's just gonna be a side character while Filoni just brings more and more of his own fan fic characters into it.

Me thinking about what I'll do with a Jar Jar Binks action figure:

Which goes to show how often revisiting a property/character/franchise 5+ years after their initial run just hurts the integrity of the property/character/franchise. Rarely does it work. NWH is the crown standard now.

I can’t wait until next week when, after excusing himself from the table with the various crime lords, he leaves his comm channel open while dropping a rather strenuous deuce. And Fennec just shakes her head and says “I told him he needs more fiber in his diet “.

I am cringing at how that scene will play out. Your scenario might be the better outcome than what we will get.

Anyone keep track of those major spoilers about season 1? Are things on track?

Nothing much from them yet apart from Black Krrsantan turning up.

>Main antagonist is Q'ira played by Emilia Clarke. An elderly Cad Bane is her right hand man, Cad Bane is played by one of the Mando stuntmen but is voiced by Corey Burton, looks cool in live action. The duo are the big bads of the series.
>
>Boba goes around uniting the Mad Max-esque gangs and minor syndicates who are at each others throats after Jabba's demise. Crimson Dawn at the same time are trying to gain a foothold on Tatooine. They view Boba as a threat and send various bounty hunters after him, including Black Krrsantan the Wookie. Black gives Boba a brutal beatdown similar to the Mudhorn battering Din in season 1 of the Mandalorian. Boba gives it his all though and gains black's respect. Various other bounty hunters go after Boba but he defeats them all.
>
>Boba when he visits one of the cities is approached by a street girl, he views her like himself when he was young and he takes her somewhat under his wing as a protege, yes I know folks will moan at this, but the actress is really good. She's an important catalyst for later.
>
>Muchi from the Bad Batch is in the show. Bib owned her, and mistreated her. Boba tames her and uses her as a mount in an episode. Later frees her and let's her go her own way.Rex and Echo show up in episode 5 (played by Temuera too obviously) he looks awesome, he has his Endor uniform and the Bad Batch cloak/poncho thing, Echo looks good too, his skin tone is mostly normalized, he has a new hand, Despite their age, they both still got stamina. Rex's reasons for seeking Boba aren't made clear as they're interrupted by more bounty hunters lead by Bossk when they meet. Boba and Bossk fight, but Bossk compliments him for his achievements thus far in uniting the underworld and it's nothing personal. Boba, Rex and Echo and Fennec mop the floor with the bounty hunters. Boba spares Bossk and Bossk then has a drink with Boba, Shand and the clones. Rex says he'll be in contact with Boba again once Boba deals with the issues he currently has. Rex and Boba leave.
>
>After Boba unites the gangs, and various Hunters failed to kill him and Shand, Q'ira finally allows Bane to try at Boba again. Bane scouts the area and notices Boba's affection for the girl mentioned earlier, Boba is starting to view her like a daughter, Bane kidnaps her and contacts Boba, who is shocked Bane is not dead. Bane and Boba duel it out one last time, Boba wins, Cad Bane finally hits the bucket. The girl is okay and comes to live with Boba and Fennec, Boba starts to train here.
>
>Q'ira is still out there however and isn't dealt with, she decides to hold off on further advances to Tatooine after Banes death.
>
>Rex once again arrives this time Echo is not with him, he's with Din. Din tells him that they are going to attempt to take back Mandalore and Din wants Boba by his side.
>
>Continued Mandalorian Season 3..

5 episodes left to fit all that in. No doubt with more flashbacks too. Going to be tight. 😬
