Right now for me the Wookiee is the closest we've gotten to OT Fett/TPM Maul levels of coolness. He just exudes that perfect level of implied menace and "less is more" approach of SW's glory days. But like I said above that could all come crashing down just like with ROTJ Fett, Maul's lame death, resurrection, and so forth, depending on what they do with him from here on out.

But yeah I do like the Hutts too and think they have an awesome look and presence that surpasses most other recent baddies as well.
Yes, in terms of looks so far he's the coolest character introduced in BoBF. Hopefully he's a next level badass and we get a great showdown between him and BF. They need to pull that off and NOT kill the character, because even though he's done nothing (save look intimidating) I want him to survive so we can see him again down the road.

Right now I do hope that Fett kills him since the Wookiee is clearly the Twins' personal enforcer just like Fett was for Jabba in the 97 SE. So him taking out a scarier version of his prior self would be a huge win for the character that would have lasting dividends regardless of his life path going forward.

If Fennec or the Tusken lady takes out the Wookiee then that will be super lame.

I liked episode 2 more than episode 1. The flashbacks vs current timeline is definitely feeling like 2 separate shows.

Flashback stuff I def. like a lot. Strangely he feels more like Boba Fett in this show the farther he gets from Beskar.

Agree with this 100%. Frankly, I've NEVER understood having giant slugs setting up shop on a DESERT planet, let alone traveling about unprotected under the blistering sun. Talk about fish out of water...
Well, they're sentient space 'slugs' -- in actuality they don't seem to have much in common with earthly gastropds of the order Mollusca, so I can absolutely give that a pass.

I think the Wookiee is menacing and well done, and understand he comes from some established source material, but every time I look at the Celtic belt buckle and spiked shoulder pauldrons, I think of World of Warcraft and fear that Boba Fett is gonna be attacked by a bunch of LARPers. :chase

I went back and rewatched the scenes where he gets his armor back in Mando.

One minute he's bashing Stormtroopers with his gaffi stick, the next he's in his armor and shooting and stuff.

Logically, he probably left it on the Razor Crest when he was getting dressed. Which means it went boom. But since we never actually SAW him do that, that gives them the opening to say he stashed his precious gaffi stick somewhere before he boarded the Razor Crest for his armor, and then when the battle was over he retrieved it and put it in a safe place aboard Anakin One.

Hey, if the show never addresses the fate of Wonderbat Boba's Lizard King gaffi stick, then that's just gonna be my headcanon. Cause he went through to much to get that stick to just have it blow up on some dude's spaceship or get left behind on some random planet.
Mando necklace > Wonderbat.

Even a toddler managed to keep track of his stuff. :monkey3

Happy for you....

I really want Disney to change the name now to Anakin One...

I enjoyed Episode 2 a lot, a good bit more than the first. I don't know if I'd buy a Hot Toys of that Wookie but he was an awesome looking character.

Yeah, that's the most likely outcome but I'd still like a few of these not-so-nice characters to be available for more than one or two episodes before they get Toro Cali-canned. :lol Not that I'm in any way implying that TC should have been a recurring character. Mando should have offed him after about 10 seconds!

Maybe we'll find out that Boba has worked with Black Krrsantan (the Wookiee) in the past and he's actually a plant and on Fett's payroll? While that could undermine BK's badass potential it could also give Boba some points in terms of prepping for this takeover, something he's sorely lacking at the moment. If I'm not mistaken Fett referred to him as a "gladiator", so he seems to at least know him by reputation.

Something that was definitely annoying was him interrogating the Night Wind assassin with his helmet off. Yes it's definitely best to go with your least intimidating look when trying to get info from someone who just tried to kill you. :slap
