Still trying to channel Jake the Muss.

He still spared her. More like Jake the Wuss. 🤭

Fennec is probably back there rolling her eyes.

If you watch his and Fennec's reactions to some of the electric shocks during that Ep 1 assassins' attack they seemed to be channeling Classic Trek there too. :lol BTW, what is The Order of the Night Wind's reputation, anyway? As the only assassins who try to kill with non-lethal weapons?
They pass gas to incapacitate their victims.

"WE PASS GAS IN YOUR GENERAL DIRECTION!"

Maybe the Mayor wanted to keep his hands clean so he hired assassins so elite that they provoke their targets into committing suicide. Unfortunately they underestimated the wimpiness of Fett's wrist rocket.

Re-watching bits of The Mandalorian today made The Book of Bob seem more like a straight to video knock off version of Star Wars.

Like all those cheap space movies in the '70s and '80s that took advantage of the craze that Lucas had created.

Lest we forget...

Yes seriously what the hell happened I am not the biggest RR fan and that awesome episode also had a non cinematic look to it but it didn’t matter they captured Fett the way he should be that’s all that mattered this new stuff is absolutely baffling.

It stinks of Filoni cheese more than KK time of the month.

Filoni did such a good job with Ahsoka I don’t get what happened here.

At least we got Fett's version of "RO Vader" in that one episode. Which now makes me wonder about what we'll get in Kenobi. The last time we saw suited Vader on screen *was* RO but if they immediately go back to making him lame just like what we've seen with Fett then...yikes. We should probably enjoy this moment of Vader being a badass again I guess.

With HC returning i’m thinking most of his screen time is going to be without a helmet or else why bother even bringing him back.

He’ll probably land on Tatooine and immediately start whining as soon as his foot touches sand.

Then he will befriend the same Tusken clan that Boba Fett is hanging out with.

I bet Vader gave them that high end black tent lol

Holy crap imagine if it was Vader that taught them how to fight like that!

And then we'll learn that "I killed them" was just referring to his stand-up comedy routine.

Fett: "What were your orders, assassin?"

Night Wind Warrior: "I'm sorry. I am so sorry. I'm just imagining you waking up in the morning, looking at your stupid bald head in the mirror and saying 'You know what would be a really kickass way to intimidate a prisoner? With my helmet off!"

At least Fett finally got the moment we all wanted. Much like Vader. And Luke. That's a serious bonus from these Mando shows.

I don't think anyone can top Vader in RO. It is exactly what everyone wanted -- Vader, the Monster. A brief moment of perfect execution.

Anything more is just more, anything less is a disappointment.

Thank you, for killing my mother with honor and respect. 🤗

This morning I sat down and watched episodes 1 and 2 back to back together with no pause. I didn't even let it roll through the concept art and end credits and went from 1 to 2 as quickly as possible. I'm enjoying the show much more than I did with the two individual viewings of the episodes 1 week apart. They really should've released them both together as I think they did with the first two episodes of Hawkeye. They play much better together and the flashback stuff is much more tolerable when you get it all together. There's still misses in this thing but I'm feeling much better about the show, about Fett and about the future. Plus, it's Saturday! :)

SW fans have a unique ability to jedi mind trick themselves into liking stuff.

Grateful for anything new. ANYTHING!

The EU set such a good precedent for what felt right that these deviations just feel hollow. Not only hollow, but hopeless too.

Not sure why there cannot be joy in media as everything is depressive and world ending. I miss the joyous celebrations at the end of ANH, ROTJ and can even point to Die Hard. At least NWH ended on a positive note.
