And speaking of Mando murdering people did any else find it a tad disturbing how he just went in and offed the guy in the middle of his workplace resulting in him needing to skewer and dismember half a dozen other hapless workers in the process? Usually when I picture bounty hunting in SW I usually envision the hunters picking off their quarries when they're alone or in more "neutral" places like a city street or pub or what have you.

But I mean picture in real life you're minding your own business at the office and then a guy just strolls in, walks into your boss's office where he's having a meeting and just starts going to town on everyone, decapitates your boss, then casually walks out carrying his *head*. :panic: :thud:
???????

But Mando didn't do anything other than give the guy his options (being delivered warm or cold) until the guy's underlings attacked him. He didn't kill the boss until last, and the guy was firing on him prior to that to boot.

No we don't. That girl was soooooooooo vanilla.
Nah, she can shoot, and shamed the guys Disney fashion. She's Mando worthy. Look, she was ready to BOND with him :monkey3 without even seeing his face. For all she knew, he had multiple eyeballs or something.👽

And one of 'em bit his hand. Eeeuw.

I cant wait till we have to fight these guys IRL. I am sure DARPA will give them some of those robot dogs they have for advanced recon, and we can go full-tilt Black Mirror.

Terrifying.

Mandalorian women for Mandalorian men: I have spoken.

If she wants a Mandalorian man, she can take the oath and armor up.

Instead of continuing with a Force Dyad/Death type of story akin to KotOR II and going into a wholly new direction, they did a half-assed Dark Empire adaptation that was "gud guise" vs "bad guise" told in a nonsensical matter. TLJ ruined Luke, had a lot of problems and everything, but it at least opened some new storylines. TROS was merely executive-meddling nonsense masquerading as "fan service" ('memba Lando, 'memba Palps, Rey iz not just a nobody!111!11). I'd have more respect for the ST if they had the stones to stick with TLJ's storyline going forward. No Sith, no Jedi, a new kind of Force Philosophy, a new kind of "First Order" under Kylo, Rey falling to the Dark and meeting halfway with Ren. That'd have been at least interesting.

But, but there was the Obi-Wan and Satin Kryze thing; and anyway the strength of Mandalore depended on the foundlings or at least the Death Watch.

Because yah know, Disney style, LUV❤ will trump Jedi, Sith, and Mandalorian codes. It's happened before. Think the whole arc will be Din D'jarin discovering fate is what we make etc. Chosen clan-family. That it was friends along the way that forged his AUTHENTIC SELF. 😁

So if he wants to hook up with pretty widow after saving everyone's collective butts after rescuing the Mythosaur eggs by swimming naked through some cave pool and hatching them by warming them up with his gauntlet flamethrower :monkey3 , figure he is entitled.

Mando "didn't do anything" other than walk into a workplace armed to the teeth and then advise the floor manager that he has the choice of being either murdered or kidnapped? :lol

Then when the manager's coworkers try to prevent their boss from being murdered or kidnapped by biting the hand of his drawn pistol he murders them all? Yes they were clearly asking for it. :lol

;)

Maybe their boss shouldn't have been a good for nothing, murdering, crime-lord, fugitive scum.

I'm glad we agree! :lol

But seriously, they came at him wielding meat cleavers. If they didn't interfere Mando would have likely just incapacitated the boss and dragged him out lol...

*Shrug* They chose poorly. Anyway clearly the boss decided to surround himself with stupid employees., except for the one who ran for it (like in Iron Man where the guy hated working there anyway).

The smart ones took the money and all the office supplies left in the desk.

How is the story going into a "wholly new direction" if they simultaneously give us a story "akin to KOTOR II?" :)

They did actually continue with a Force Dyad type of story (obviously) but as you said they just went the Dark Empire route as opposed to KOTOR (or something else.) With the end result just coming down to preferences (I'm not familiar with KOTOR so that doesn't mean anything to me compared to DE which I like a lot) as opposed to being a matter of backpedaling.

I know people think that TROS somehow tried to course correct TLJ Luke but it played as a direct continuation to me. In ESB Yoda told Luke to his face that if he trained to become a Jedi that one day he'd give in to fear and he did so by going to the island (in addition to admitting to Rey that her power greatly scared him) but then before TLJ even ended Yoda appeared to show Luke the error of his ways which then tracked with his confession in TROS that he "was wrong" to go into exile on the island. And going back to Dark Empire it was TLJ that introduced Force Projection on the big screen which had its origins in DE so TROS doubling down on that was fair play to me and again not a backpedal. But I digress, and realize that most of my points on the ST fall on deaf ears anyway, lol. :duff

One salvo of whistling birds would have cleared the lot of them, he just wanted an excuse to test out the Darksaber on some sad sacks of flesh, that sick son of a *****, lol.
