Can't wait till Mace shows up. He is still alive.

And speaking of Mando murdering people did any else find it a tad disturbing how he just went in and offed the guy in the middle of his workplace resulting in him needing to skewer and dismember half a dozen other hapless workers in the process? Usually when I picture bounty hunting in SW I usually envision the hunters picking off their quarries when they're alone or in more "neutral" places like a city street or pub or what have you.

But I mean picture in real life you're minding your own business at the office and then a guy just strolls in, walks into your boss's office where he's having a meeting and just starts going to town on everyone, decapitates your boss, then casually walks out carrying his *head*. :panic: :thud:

The Fett HS cartoon has no business being on that list. It was an awesome introduction to his character and not something that I've ever heard anyone having a problem with.

I concur, though I'm sure our opinion is at least partially clouded by nostalgia - and we don't really consider it canon do we? Plus I had to include it for any who might not like the "friend" and "Vader's right-hand man" schtick.

I always found Fett's competence and demeanor in the HS to track well enough with his character in ESB. Hell I thought it matched his ESB character better than ROTJ did, lol.

Seemed to be, regarding his conversation with the alien that recruited him for the bounty, that he was desperate and in a rush to find the Armorer/Paz.

But yes, isolating your target when they are most vulnerable would be the wisest bounty hunting rule to go by. Then again, Mando is naive in the show too. Which is why it wouldn't be the perfect Boba show cause the Boba I think of knows how to go about his business in an intelligent and creative manner.

Oh and for those keeping score we have now officially gone five episodes of the seven episode series about Boba Fett and he still has not fired a single shot from either one of his blasters.

And Mando has already killed more people in one episode than Fett in the previous four. And despite Fett being a "Crime Lord" Mando is the only one who has actually committed a crime (murdering the meat packers, buzzing the Starliner and ditching the X-Wings.)
Yeah, but I guess it's supposed to be moving (probably in the way things move when I have an ill-advised enchilada at a place that I look up later; that turns out to have numerous health code violations) -

to some BS finish:poop: where Boba realizes "wherever you go, there you are" and paints Tatooine red (or bluish green since we are talking aliens) .

'Coz Fennec already made that remark about fear vs. respect. But unlike Mandalorian where we've scene a character be resourceful, competent, determined, and a skilled opponent, most of what we've seen of Fett is that he needs help dressing himself (contrast to Mando who just yanks his weapons off and can put them back on without Fennec having to explain things - yeah, and she lit up when she saw Mando, probably in relief. Boba is exhausting.:drink)

There should be a suspension of belief meter someplace when TBOBF big finale comes. But no one will care when Mando blows back in to save the day Solo style with his little green friend; later in Mandalorian there'll be a flashback scene where Mando and Luke are bickering, after beating on each other with their laser swords:

"It is the Will of the Force he be trained; and give up everything including cookies. 'Coz reasons."
"Yeah? Well I'm his father, so there. You Jedi are weird".:monkey3

Seems perfectly reasonable to me. Bosses come and go. Think I'd be rooting for maybe being sent home early at least. Yippee! :monkey3

What "backpedaling" are you referring to?
Instead of continuing with a Force Dyad/Death type of story akin to KotOR II and going into a wholly new direction, they did a half-assed Dark Empire adaptation that was "gud guise" vs "bad guise" told in a nonsensical matter. TLJ ruined Luke, had a lot of problems and everything, but it at least opened some new storylines. TROS was merely executive-meddling nonsense masquerading as "fan service" ('memba Lando, 'memba Palps, Rey iz not just a nobody!111!11). I'd have more respect for the ST if they had the stones to stick with TLJ's storyline going forward. No Sith, no Jedi, a new kind of Force Philosophy, a new kind of "First Order" under Kylo, Rey falling to the Dark and meeting halfway with Ren. That'd have been at least interesting.

That's exactly what makes Din a Chad and an interesting character, and Fatt an annoying, puddle-deep wimp.
