Its like we're watching two different shows. the one I'm watching, Olyphant is okay but nothing outstanding, just a regular guy. He was that in Mando, and he's that here. He does not offend me, neither does he make me go WOW. I dont get it.

I still have no damn idea why this guy and/or any of the townspeople would take up arms on Fett's behalf. They're going to fight off would-be overlords so that... Fett can be their overlord? Yeah, that does not stand up from a logical standpoint to me.

Fett is not a likeable guy, really. Let's not pretend that he is. He IS a ruthless killer, with flexible morals and a strong self-interest, to the exclusion of almost everything else. These people have no reason to embrace him, but we're gonna pretend they do.

Stg if Filoni was forced to make a documentary about the January 6 insurrection, Ahsoka would suddenly stroll across the screen chyron-style as Drumph was ranting from his bully pulpit. Where he goes she goes - if she fits or not, if she makes sense or not, if she has anything to offer plot-wise or not. ALRIGHT WE GET IT ALREADY FILONI YOU LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE AHSOKA

Excuse sour grapes, I am feeling very sour-grape-y today. :devil
Sour grapes compute:duff. Been there with TFWS. And to a degree, Mandalorian here and there.

Re Olyphant dunno what to say; to me he's charismatic, believable and I like the Mando/Marshall interactions. But I get not everyone takes to every character.

Anyway I took it that the townspeople just don't want spice run through their town. One of those "he may be a b@st@rd, but he's OUR b@st@rd" things re Fett, while the Pykes are just offworld aliens that look weird.

You're not really wrong here.

I feel like a life-change can be a thing after someone emerges from a near-death experience. In this case its just WAY TOO MUCH AT ONCE

The reason I think the near death experience is a non starter with Boba Fett is that he has presumably nearly died 100 times already so it's nothing new to him. I don't think the fluke sarlaac incident is something that would completely change his outlook.

Plus I just find it annoying that he gave a hypocritical speech to Fennec about how working for ***** crime lords is dangerous when he has become the biggest ***** crime lord of all.

It’s geeks like this guy…I get my questions answered. How do these guys figure everythiing out :lol

I never understood the love for Cobb... nor Cara Dune.

He’s interesting in the Marshall episode..but after today.. I like his character even more
If you'd seen either Deadwood, Justified or both you'd know that Cobb Vanth is basically the SW version of TO's iconic characters (Seth Bullock & Raylan Givens) from those two shows.

Well, I don't get offended; just I thought Morrison at least deserved to have a good arc, script and directing. Like I think Rosario Dawson is alright, but Filoni made her pretty lifeless in Mandalorian; but the fights were good.

Olyphant is one of those actors who could read a phone book and make it riveting.(y)

Ever since Scream 2, the guy just oozes charisma.

He's awesome in Go as well, a gem from 1999.

Hey everyone,

Just saw this, WOW! Loved pretty much every minute of it! So much intertwining of the OT, PT, ST, TCW, and Mando, they freaking "crossed the streams" here, and it was awesome! :rock

And of course for Boba Fett's part he didn't disappoint by standing around for two seconds being useless with his helmet off. :lol :duh

I'll post more later tonight, but wow that just blew me away (much like the Mos Pelgo deputy, lol.)

Anything is possible with that stupid plot device of the WBW, so I don't know.

But if you're asking me if this is the same Luke that you see in the ST, I think you might get your answer next week.
If it is the same Luke as the ST then I have a message for everyone.

How’s everyone doing tonight…good…ok good that’s always nice to hear isn’t ajp…no seriously it really warms my heart.

Anyways back to my message…..

HOLY CRAP GROGU IS GOING TO GET SLAUGHTERED SO THAT LUKE CAN ABANDON THE JEDI ORDER!!! :horror :horror :panic: :panic: :horror :horror

That was a cool episode. Seeing a certain Clone Wars era bounty hunter in all of his creepiness was very cool.
It definitely was cool. Just think, in one live action episode we saw the 3 greatest bounty hunters in the history of Star Wars: Cad Bane, Fennec Shand and Din Djarin! :yess:
