Reposting the first post in this thread. One for the Fett fans to cry over.Cant Wait for this. Judging by the title, I'm guessing (or hoping) that it's Fett recollecting his greatest adventures and bounties.
Before this episode I could care less about that lame looking cartoon Cad Bane.
After this episode HOLY CHRIST what a freaking perfect spaghetti western black rim hat Lee Van Cleef BAD ASS!!
What a freaking awesome episode!
Cobb reminds me of FettThis times 1000. People get offended when Morrison gets criticism because they either blindly love him in the PT or because he appears to be a nice guy. But his acting is poor, he doesn't look like Boba Fett, and he should be playing the character not forcing "himself" into the character. I can't blame him for the writing but he is still at least 50 percent responsible for this show totally sucking. Call it what it is.
Meanwhile with just a few slick lines of gunslinger diologue Olyphant already has me wanting to see lots more of Cobb Vanth. His posture is even somewhat reminiscent of Bulloch. I wish we could get in the "way back" machine and cast Olyphant as the cold blooded bounty hunter Boba Fett, he is damn near perfect for the part.
Yeah, he seems cool. I like him. He makes current Boba look like a pansy. Before this episode I could care less about that lame looking cartoon Cad Bane.

Bucky SkywalkerAre they trying to ween us off Hamill with an eventual recast?
Surprised no one has yet made note of the fact that everyone's favorite MILF Garsa has now been reduced to her component molecules.
Luke - "That's not how the force works you green little bastard!!"Any chance Grogu takes the armour and lightsaber and gives Luke the middle finger before jetting off with Mando?

It's definitely not exactly what I thought it was going to be.Reposting the first post in this thread. One for the Fett fans to cry over.
But seriously, the structure of the series is a disaster. As much as I've enjoyed the last two episodes, it feels like they should be part of a different series or part of Mando S3. It's like watching a completely different show.
The Mando and Luke/Grogu stuff deserves to be fleshed out a lot more. It could be fantastic - just not in Boba's Book Club.
Yeah, I totally agree! After Mando season one, when word got out that Timothy Oliphant was cast for season two, I went off to my friend about how I guaranteed he’d be playing Boba Fett because he’d look perfect in the armor and he’d be a good match for Jeremy Bulloch’s physicality, so it’s great to see other people had that same impression.Hmm yes i like that, Cobb getting the armour back, he has a very interesting, very Jeremy Bulloch like posture.
The thing that bothers about Luke giving grogu a choice is that I always felt like Luke broke away from the old Jedi principles like forgoing attachment. Attachment is the reason he ended up saving Vader in the end, that’s sort of an important part of his entire arc, IMO. Like was posted earlier, I hope we see him understand afterwords that the choice thing with grogu was misguided.
It's as far away as it could possibly be.It's definitely not exactly what I thought it was going to be.
Morrison barely spoke in Mando and almost always had the helmet on. That's why it worked, IMO...Yeah but Morrison did pretty good in Mando IMO. Olyphant's got charisma.
I still blame bad writing, lack of vision, poor editing/directing and a rushed production. Plus, yah know, budget sets.
Drash, Skad and the Mayor's Majordomo make current Boba look like a pansy lol...Yeah, he seems cool. I like him. He makes current Boba look like a pansy.
Bucky Skywalker
Yep, pretty much.Morrison barely spoke in Mando and almost always had the helmet on. That's why it worked, IMO...
