damn coco...........you just seem to out do yourself all the time. good stuff bro !!!!!!

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

You do great work coco. I love the Batman case I bought off of you years ago. It's held up well all this time.

Thanks! I had forgotten that you bought one from me a while ago. I haven't made one of those Batman displays in a long time.

Thanks barryo!
I was able to get a little more done to the TDK display case yesterday and a bit more today so far. It's off to Hobby Lobby this afternoon for supplies. Still tweaking the lighting on this thing, uncharted waters for me there.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Damn bro... that is going to be sick looking :rock

And it has been raining like a mofo here, seems like its finally clearing up.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Thanks gboy!

Raining? I'm about 3 miles north of 33 on Perkins Rd and I haven't seen a drop.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

I need to get a Batman case myself. What with my 1939 set, my TV show set, the Keaton+ movies sets, now the new ones..we're easily talking 30-40+ figures here. That warrants a case!

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Can't imagine the shipping charges on that one :lol

More like freight charges. :lol

Well, I made a little more progress on the TDK display. Still playing with the lighting. I'm not quite happy with it yet. I'm trying to keep it all battery powered so there aren't any cords hanging down or needing to put it near an outlet.
Still far from done with it but the skeleton is built.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Here's a pic with the two puck lights I had originally thought I'd use. The only problem is they don't backlight the bat symbol and I'd have to do it separatly.:monkey2 The light looks better on the figures though I think.

Opinions please!

Yeah, the 2nd lighting (at least in pictures) looks better for the figures.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

that looks great so far man. ever think about a light that blooms (know what i mean??) for behind the bat symbol. that would be freakin cool.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Looks great so far, the Bat sign could be a little bigger/more defined on the edges but overall looks like a great shelf. Those photos look professionally printed!

Looks pretty pimp!

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Thanks for the feedback guys!

barryo, is this what you mean by "blooms"?

no.............lets see how i can explain this....
kinda gets brighter then fades gradually, .......gets brighter then fades gradually, gets brighter then fades gradually..............get it???
like the light is pulsing or something.

Sounds interesting. I have no idea how to do that though.

well i don't either really...........and if you are going to battery power that may make it tougher and maybe not worth the aggravation.......but........if you have a radioshack nearby, try calling them and see if they have any ideas. just a thought. still looks awesome either way...:rock

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

This is one of the best "steal your ideas threads" on the forum. Thanks for your hard work and creativity.
