Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Here's my custom Gordon. He's on a True Type with Spencer's sculpt painted by me. The pants, belt and shoes are from a Hot Toys Clark Kent and the rest is various ebay purchases.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Great work. Spencers hs are great-this one being one of the tops, though to me the most life-like is his Quint. We are lucky to have some great artist here.

Ain't that the truth. There's so much cool stuff people can make here it boggles the mind.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Not collectible related but still custom.:D This is a 7 foot wide sunburst shutter that I'm buildling at work for our Home Show display this march.

It's made out of curly maple and Bubinga wood. It's a swirl pattern that I came up with several years ago and it makes each louver look like a ray of sunshine coming from the center of the shutter or "hub".

I'll take more pics with an actual camera when it's finished.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

I dont know Coco, I just cant see the sword hanging from that :p

You are however, one talented mofo :rock

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Almost done with the sunburst. I just need to put the bottom left and right louvers in that don't move. I need to take some decent pics with something other than my phone too. :lol

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

Here's a pic of the other wild project I've been working on. It's a 42"x42" quarter burst shutter made from 15 different wood types.

And a picture of my other baby getting sanded in between a coat of laquer.

Now all laquered and drying.

Re: Cocoboloboy's Crazy Customs

oh hell, that is so cool. & none of that wood is stained or anything is it?.

Ahhhh, the elusive white dinner jacket. My white whale for this custom.:lol

This is my TOD Indy so far. Just gotta repaint that sculpt and find a stinkin' jacket. If anybody has any leads please share.
