Do you doubt if he's actually seen the film?

I truly believe the man has seen the film. Sadly, I don't know if he will last long over there on rotten, though.

Oh well...in the meantime, he answered a lot of my questions! :chew

Well, you Guys know Gruff is going to a special TDK Screening with Bale and Cast Q and A after the Show here in Town. I think he said the screening is right about this time so some may have seen it...

Anyway, I'm staying Batvirginal until Opening Day.

Anything relativly non-spoilerish?

Actually, I feel good after having read it. He revealed nothing uber-spoilerish. He said he would not reveal an serious plot twists or turns, and surprisingly, he didn't! Those who have been following the film and know the comics wouldn't be "surprised" by much of what he said.

The MAJOR questions (which you probably have in mind, munch), he left unanswered.

And, that's awesome, pjam! Thanks for letting us know! :)

From SHH -

Yes it happened. A bunch of undeserving knobs saw TDK this week!

It happened in Burbank at the request of an industry big wig in preparation for the marketing onslaught that will accompany TDK. Big wig needs to see the film to do his job effectively. The screening was for someone who will be known as 'The Chin" and his cohorts.

I tried to get information on how it went and the only word I got was; and this is a direct quote: "If you combined the Spiderman, Hulk and Iron Man films, they wouldn't reach up to The Dark Knight's ankles. That's how tall the new Batflick stands next to those aforementioned films." The word masterpiece was thrown around.

Of course, Heath's performance is out of this world but that's no surprise...the real surprise revelation is Aaron Eckart as Harvey Dent. It's a starmaking role. People will be shocked at how good Eckart is in the film. His role is huge.

Any chance Nolan would like to make a GI Joe flick?????? lol

He saved Batman from Shuemacher, so anything is possible :rotfl

And that sounds amazing Scuba! Even if the film totally sucks, I can't see myself just not loving Ledger's performance. Ever clip just gets better and better!

So, turns out the MM figures were pulled (at least what was left of them) due to some unspecified "safety issues."

Hm. I don't know what the problem was. They put "8+" on the package in bold lettering.

Hope we still see wave 2 sometime... :(

I would think it's either something to do with the paint/plastics being a problem, or perhaps the evidence bags resulted in issues. I can't fathom wht else could be a problem, they hardly have accessories, far less than a lot of young child toys, and the figures themselves don't have to many unsafe parts if any. At least I got mine ahead of time so I won't have to wait until the reissues, which I assume they'll reissue them anyway. Wonder what this will mean for wave 2 in terms of release time.

Huh. Well, it's a good thing I found that Joker figure while they were out. I bought it the day they came out, and I haven't seen a single other Joker since. Well, I guess I get to watch the already somewhat high price on the figure go up and up and up.:D

What?? There are lots of Jokers and Batmans in both the Orginal and TDK costumes. Hell, they have been on ebay for the same price they were the first day they came out. About the same we would pay from a stateside retailer and we will get them sooner, so thats the way I am going.

mother^^^^ers!! please man I've seen so many clips and stuff stop killing it for me!! I'm weak when it comes to anything batman.. I'm tempted to read/watch anything!! good thing I've only seen a few commercials..

I just found out today that the IMAX I'm going to at 12:01 AM is sold out! Should be a great night. I can't wait!!!:banana
