Same here. But I have to give it to 8th Wonder, sticking to his guns against a sea of people who feel the other way. Takes guts to do that, especially with the amount of fan love this movie is getting. Brave soul...

We will all see how we feel about it in 2 weeks, I think that Sean has it right. Those who loved Begins will more than likely call TDK a Masterpiece. It will push that mythos even further. Those who didn't really care for Begins or that version of the Batman world will more than likely not like it as much. But, tis the nature of the beast.

Anybody take a look at the prices over the past few days for the Movie Masters Joker figure? The thing's ending around $120 for every single one. It's even going for craploads more than the chase figure.

That's a shame that people pay that much. The street date for Wave 2 is this coming Tuesday. Wave 3 hits right after that and includes 2 Jokers, 1 TDK Bats, and 1 BB Bats per case. The first ones were recalled due to "venting problems" which have been resolved.

I sure hope stores shelve them, it's going to be a ^^^^^ tracking these figures down, after big first release street dates, stores tend to not stock new until the shelves empty and this stuff isn't moving much.

I'm seeing it on the Wednesday before release. Sadly, my first viewing won't be on an IMAX screen, but I can't be too picky.

Yes, Best to save IMAX for additional viewing! For many reasons, the residual pop of it and you'll know better what to focus on.
