I caved and watched it. HOLY ****!!! He is absolutely a force of nature in this role, like a human tornado.

WOW !. He has seriously adapted to this role !. That was amazing.
Actually really surprised me the way hes acting. Its probably because I' so used to the comical joker. This is going to be fantastic ! :rock

Can't remember if I posted it here or in the spoiler thread, but I perceive Ledger's joker to be a mix of Hannibal Lecter, Nicholson's Joker and Tony Soprano/Mafia Gangster.

I really see hannibal lecter in there.
I am seriously amazed by this , awesome awesome stuff.

It's hard to say right now, but I think this interpretation will be up there with Vader and Lecter, in terms of iconic status.

Sorry if I am late on posting this or missed it....but it's been online for a day or two now at least...

Bale has said that if the producers decide to ever bring back Robin in the franchise that he will quit the franchise.

Bale is the man, Robin is a fruit!!!

I agree, how powerful his performance will work it's way into culture like those guys is up in the air, but certainly for Batman fandom, just from the 20 minutes worth of clips gathered over everything, it's definitely going to leave a long last impression.

I particularly like how these newer clips make him seem like an ordinary thug and not a clown persay, the Joker aspect of him seems more a showing of his psychosis than direct reflection of his behavior.

Love how Alfred doesn't budge when Joker makes his grand entrance.

Anybody catch Bale's recent quote regarding the character of Robin:

"If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work".

It was posted at AICN so it has to be taken with a grain of salt, but if true it's music to my ears.

How ironic. Bale went up for the role of Robin in Batman Forever. Must have a sore spot still. I think if Robin were done CORRECTLY, then he could work. Just a thought. They have never done him as he should be, a little dynamo badass. Someone that only BW/Batman could calm down enough. I wouldn't hate it if he were done correctly, and let's face it, Nolan could solve this too.

Anyway, great score stuff.

No news on the Hot Wheels Pod???

Love how Alfred doesn't budge when Joker makes his grand entrance.

For two reasons. 1) He's a strong character that's not afraid of anything which is really cool, and 2) He's so on the ball, it doesn't phase him to see Joker drop in, almost as though it's expected.

WOW.... what an amazing clip... :horror

What I find insane is how intense he plays the character... slapping people and ramping up the intensity just with gestures alone. It's really terrifying. You are on edge the entire scene, just waiting for him to blow someone away just for the Hell of it.

Yup, I was waiting for him to shotgun someone, kinda dissappointed he didn't haha, at least not by the point we saw :D

It's funny that even I... who have been praising Heath and what he could possibly do... was still completely SHOCKED to the core by how deep he really went. That scene is just a small taste of it, and I am sitting here stunned.

I want more... :lol

No kidding. He is so good in that clip it's scary and that's just a taste of what we're in for.

I had no expectations really about Heath playing the Joker, up until a few months ago, I'd only ever seen him in The Patriot and he wasn't much of a role persay in that, certainly not enough to define himself, but I saw him in The Brother's Grimm and he created such a character in that even, he was like a whole other person, got me excited to see the Joker and see what he could pour into it. Must have been a lot of fun to play such a character the way he did.

Thank you for posting that clip!! I'm just glad to see that the way he says "Good evening ladies and gentlemen is how it was in the original trailers, and not sped up like in the tv spots. SO STOKED!@!
