Got mine earlier today. Arrived in perfect condition. Pretty easy to attach the flaps, only trouble I had was figuring out how to open the cockpit. Pictures to come tomorrow. It is very stunning in person.

I stared at mine for 3 hours before deciding that I had built up enough courage to remove it.

$500.00 pieces of plastic has that effect on me.

There were all sorts of problems, missing parts, broken fins, scratched tops

I bought mine from a member here though last year, and it was problem free

Well that's good! I'm just so bummed I have to send mine back and wait for a replacement...there's a waitlist for replacements right now...I wonder if that means I'm not even guaranteed to get one??

There were all sorts of problems, missing parts, broken fins, scratched tops

Buffed up spots on the roofs and the little ledges to the windows, faulty wiring, excess glue around the windows internally and external white chalk marks. Some similar today. The fragile broken pistons. If I remember correctly, wookster suffered some dead LED's.

But given how couriers will man handle this box big time, it can't be unexpected. Lean on that roof of the box and some parts are going to give. Not all couriers/drivers are bad but I can guarantee somebody is going to manly hump that box if he hasn't dropped it in the van or by the time it gets to someones door.

Got mine today--nothing broken

But there were 3 parts that had come off. One of the antenna pieces, one piston and the control console inside had all came off without breaking---pretty simple to just glue it back.

I wasn't actually worried about breaking anything, the pistons aren't as extremely fragile as people made it seem.

I got my shipping notice from CSC today. Looks like I'll be receiving mine this coming Friday. With the QC issues cropping up, I'm almost afraid to open the box when it arrives.

Can I ask when you placed your order with CSC? I placed my order with them on Jan 21, but I've yet to hear anything.

I placed my order on Jan 19. CSC fulfills pre-orders in the order they receive them. Have they charged your credit card? If they did or have not, I would think yours should be shipping soon.

I'm quite sure you will but there is a good chance it will be October which is when the second batch is due in. As I understand from SS, all of the first shipment were more than sold and gone so replacements, later orders (like mine) and so forth will be from the second shipment. They may have held some out for replacements so it very well could be sooner but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I really wish hot toys went with metal pistons for the flaps, those were the easiest to snap

Got mine finally at 7:30 tonight. Opened the the outer box. Inner box looked fine. Didn't have anymore time. Had to come to work.

I haven't even owned the thing for 24 hours yet, my dad decided to check the Tumbler out and broke one of the flappers on the side.

Checked mine over. Fully assembled now. Everything is perfect. Can't believe it. This thing is massive. It blows my mind looking at it. So happy I got one.
