Although the likeness in not good.. I see a lot of the mayor Garcia from TDKR on this figure

I got my notice from BBTS too. Still no expected delivery date on the UPS site though. I figure I have 5-7 days now to figure out where this behemoth will go.

How much shipping are they charging?

BBTS charged me about 41.59 for the Tumbler (I live in Cali)

Yeah they charged me $41 for shipping.

Not a happy camper. This was shipped out to me 7 days ago and tracking has halted at "shipment accepted". Aarrrgghh

Shipping as a whole has been super delayed as of late. I mailed something out that was to go to Colorado and it was suppose to be there last Saturday. It says that it's still in IA. Then I ordered some stuff from China over 2 weeks ago and it still shows in China ready for delivery to the US. Then I have another order from overseas that was stuck in customs for 6 days that is just now shipping to me. The mail system sucks lol

Shipping as a whole has been super delayed as of late. I mailed something out that was to go to Colorado and it was suppose to be there last Saturday. It says that it's still in IA. Then I ordered some stuff from China over 2 weeks ago and it still shows in China ready for delivery to the US. Then I have another order from overseas that was stuck in customs for 6 days that is just now shipping to me. The mail system sucks lol

ALL international items entering the US must be x-rayed and manually checked by postal workers to make sure nothing illicit gets in.
There's no denying the mental abilities of the people who do the checking though.
I was talking to a friend of mine who runs a model kit manufacturing business, and a cargo container carrying 10,000 battlestar galactica "MKII Vipers" was once opened by customs to make sure that they weren't shipping live snakes...
It all started in 2001.

It's a necessary evil unfortunately.

Yeah and I can't blame customs for checking. Just doing their job and I'm sure that there were things before it to help the delay so I can understand international taking a little time. Yeah. We live in "interesting times" right now, so it's right the customs do their jobs.
Irony of ironies, my brother sent ancillary documents for a visa application for his American Fiancee via FEDEX to the US consulate in LA, and from leaving Edinburgh it was in LA 18 hours later.
Not too shabby if you can afford their services...(It cost about $150 for the postage)

There's an ebay AUCTION happening at the moment. Up for grabs is the tumbler, now at $511 with 5 more hours before the bidding closes. Says it ships for free anywhere outside US.

I wonder how much it would end up being sold Some trustworthy Ebayers are selling new stocks for $700/shipped.

Again if only I had more cash than responsibilty, I would have grabbed one of these. But since it;s the other way around, my budget could only accommodate the 89 mobile.

Yeah if you got the money they'll make sure that your package is wrapped in diamonds to protect the contents lol but my shipment wasn't a rush luckily so it can arrive whenever, but because it's suckBay they hold my money till it's confirmed arrived then it takes a few days to become available for PayPal to me then time to take to get to my bank. It's a crappy process.

I understand. I could only afford one as well even with the wonder of flex pay so I chose the Tumbler simply because I have a Nolan collection. Broke my heart to have to pass on the 89' though.

I drove to my local customs office and took my tumbler home. This baby is HUGE! Such a behemoth. I got late in the game (I didn't preorder), cost me $550 dollars (express shipping included to Argentina).

I got it from a seller from ebay (absolutecomicsandstatues), the guy was great, answered all my questions and shipped real fast.

So glad I have it! Too bad I have to wait till next year to display it when I move out. So it's back in the box.
