Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

"LIAM NEESON

He saved over 100 Jews from the Nazis.

He trained Obi-Wan Kenobi.

He trained Batman.

He led the A-team.

He saved Narnia from the White Witch.

He is Zeus, who led the gods against the Titans.~ TAKE THAT"

:lol very good.

Liam Neeson should definitely be in all films.

And after ALL THAT, not even he could help save "BATTLESHIP" from tanking at the box office. :lecture

Seen this this weekend. I think he was in like 10 minutes of the movie. The end part has meaning if you where in bootcamp, the Chicken (I was told my older DIs that if you failed BC you where given a Chicken Dinner as you last dinner before getting kicked out).

It was not all that bad. It was not all that good also.

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

2 other versions that were shown

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Decided to pre-order the Tumbler from SS. I had it the first time and had to sell it.

Always regretted it. Nice to be able to get one again.

Just need to wait for the Joker 2.0 and the TDKR line.

Gotta track down a Two-Face and Scarecrow though.

Get them now because I think they might be harder to find as interest in the figures is renewed

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

I'm torn on this. I have a helluva lot coming this year, and I was pretty much set on not getting this, but I started thinking about how I'd wanted one for years, and how, if I skipped this time, it'd be my own damn fault and I'd be kicking myself in the head. I just don't knew anymore...too much Batman...reality is collapsing...biological meltdown imminent. :google

I sent you a pm about this. I'm actually selling my TF and scarecrow :).

I'm kinda hoping for it to be released later than August :p!
I need all my money now for my move and will have a hard time saving up to that sum again :p hehe.

Need all the time I can get!

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Question to those who have the first version Tumbler. Is it a dust magnet?

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Well it doesn't necessarily ATTRACT dust, but if you keep it in an open space, dust WILL accumulate on it a lot over time. I dust mine off about once every 2 weeks.

Re: The Dark Knight: 1/6th scale Batmobile Collectible (relaunch)

Everything is a dust magnet apart from the DX02 Batman I used to have. That one seemed to repel dust or the oil would just consume it.

But the plastic material or whatever it is made of, will the dust get stuck on it or will a cleaning cloth work to clean of all dust?

Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight: Batmobile - Tumbler (relaunch)

Damn, Hot Toys has really gone all out on the Tumbler relaunch!

Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight: Batmobile - Tumbler (relaunch)

Is this really an image of the Hot Toys version? It looks a bit "too" real...

It's not. It's a cgi image. The rear tires look to be based on the Hot Toy's version/ or a photo composite (right down to the incorrectly-silver lipped rim where the real version is black). Also the front tires are a dead give-away. The Hot Toy's version doesn't have the "hoosier" branding on their sidewalls.

Also, all around there is just too much detail. I wouldn't say it looks "real" though, it looks like a realistically styled computer image.

Re: Hot Toys The Dark Knight: Batmobile - Tumbler (relaunch)

For you original owners how do u display this did you build your own case? This is huge!!!!
