The illusion has really made it look very robust. It looks heavy. Looking at that, one wouldn't think it's plastic.

I think you could just not put the middle piece on when you assemble it

but I dont know if it would be sturdy enough

and I know you can remove the shelves

Just payed for my Tumbler, should have it end of August early September as long as the re-release doesn't get delayed again

It's the weathering that gives it that robust look I think, stellar job. I really hope the production versions replicate that.

I plan on weathering my Black tumbler too.. some silver wear and tear around the edges.

Ikea has a new glass table, similar to the Granas called Vittsjo that I was looking at my local Ikea that could very well be used to display the Tumblers.

No not the round one. It's the long nesting table. Could probably glue some glass or plexi panels to the sides.

Just got out of the batmobile panel at SDCC. Tdkr blue ray scheduled to be released during the holiday. Creators of the batmobile were all there. The documentary will be included on the tdkr bonus materials.

The Bat could drop out the batpod from the rear like bat droppings.
