I'd love to get a case for it, but it would probably end up costing nearly as much as the tumbler. I was reading a thread where the guy had modded an ikea glass table to display it in, looked really good.

I saw that. Looks awesome. Last I knew Geil was selling the one I posted the pic of above. I don't know if he still is or not but I do intend to contact him and find out.

I can see a lot of potential there. And they're cheap depending on what size you would need to fit.

I patiently await pictures.

I was imagining the tank turned upside down with the bottom cut out....or something like that. I dig that pic though. It's both awesome and funny.

I'm all for supporting a fellow boardie. I plan on asking him to do some work for me actually. But if all you need is custom cut acrylic to fill the sides of a table or something like that, your local hardware store can help you out. I have an ACE a mile down the road from me that will cut me any size I need for cheap.

An actual custom case like Geil does, that's a whole different story.

no, it wouldn't be too bad. It would only be $230 shipped for me. I know there's a place in the UK with comparable pricing, don't remember the name though.

cheapest & best option is the FigureFreak coffee table no doubt about it
if no space for the table (just throw out your old one... you know you want to!) the upside down aquarium seems to be the next economical choice but sizes are what they are ... limited to what you can find.
custom cases are a great solution as you can have it made fit your space and vision, they can be reasonable but shipping is a real killer for these big ones...

yes with the sides don't come to me since the side panels are going hide 3 edges and possibly the bottom one as well if you do it right the panels don't need any special work. It might actually be easier to find a glass shop to cut glass for you for possibly even cheaper! Just plan ahead on how to secure the sides. Can discuss it in the coffee table section so anyone can benefit

It's soooo hard to get of my lazy ASS!
But yes I do want to make a run of specific sized cases for a bunch of ppl cause I will have to make some for myself soonish......
got to take care of some more house related and car related stuff and hopefully can find time to organize something for all the patient ppl

No. They're are withdrawing from accounts that day. I'm excited because it's the last payment my GF has to make and that I should have it in a weeks time.

I still have no idea where I'm going to put this. My only option at this point would be on top of some detolfs, but that's where my Jabba currently resides.
