Amazon still only has the Blu-ray batpod... I hope they get the DVD version since I have a $25 gift certificate I want to use on it.

I may be wrong, but I think Warner is only releasing the Batpod case with the Blu-ray version.

I predict The Dark Knight will do the same for Blu-ray players.
One reason to get the BD is because it has all six original format IMAX scenes included. Looks like Iron Man's Blu-ray record will be short-lived

The only way the IMAX scenes can be in their original format, is in an IMAX screen. Anything else is useless to me.

Yes they are...but the DVD doesnt say ORIGINAL IMAX FORMAT or whatever....which is on the IMAX screen...

Yeah, IMAX simply means a larger resolution, which has no meaning for home video release because the whole movie will be in one resolution. It might have different aspect ratios for those sections though.
