This was going to be my first Baleman figure too, but I cancelled it earlier this year and pre-ordered the TDK Armory 2.0 cause was really disappointed with those cons photos. I'd suggest you should consider it as well buddy. Much better offering and that Bruce isn't a statue like this one.
The Bruce figure with the suit looks better on TDK Armory 2.0, but I much prefer this armory visually. Other armory looks pretty dull.

"Must Have".

Yeah, until the next one. Then it's a "Must sell".

This guy MRC loves to hype up every figure, and frankly, it's a bad influence on people.

Reviews are usually only worth a darn when the reviewer pays out of pocket for their figures, and doesn’t kiss ass to get free stuff.

Didn’t watch the review, so I’m not saying that’s the case here, but it seems pretty common in this hobby.

While I definitely agree with you. MRC doesn't get free figures. He buys them directly from Secret Base. But, I do agree that he doesn't usually have much wrong to say regarding HT figures. I could be wrong, but I think that's all he collects when it comes to 1/6 stuff. If he collects other stuff, he definitely doesn't review them.

Likely he’s a genuine collector who just can’t stop collecting. Some people can’t implement restraint regarding things they enjoy.

The passion, which is refreshing to see, though still feels generated unnaturally because every week it’s something new he’s reviewing. You cannot like all of that to the degree of owning. It has become a fix.

These other annoying YT guys are just bought and paid for reviewers soaking up the free product to generate views and dispose of the figure if they’d like later on. They just use these figures to generate revenue, there’s no connection involved, which is why they rush to review it first.

Sort of reminds me of something I heard from some musician (can't remember who to be honest) many years ago - paraphrasing, they said "if you like every song on my album, you're not a true fan. No one can like everything and not every song is meant for you."

I follow this guy on instagram mostly for his con/secret base and first unboxing photos. And as per the stories he posted over the last couple of days, looks like he picked this up himself from the store after work.

I take MRC reviews with a grain of salt, he tends to call everything absolutely beautiful guys, lol.

That said, I don’t think the likeness is that bad. In certain angles during the review, it actually looked pretty strong. I’m hoping it’ll look even better in person.

I still have this on pre-order and was considering canceling after those initial blogger pics surfaced. But now I’m thinking I might keep it, I really like the rain effect on the armory.

The rain drops on this are sublime.

My worry is in time, this acrylic will start to yellow. That, coupled with that absolutely absurd seam line they thought was alright on the Bruce / Mcfarlane portrait. Yeah, I’d just as happily keep looking forward onwards but that’s me.

I find myself looking to cancel the TDK Armory version in favor of JND’s because of the details and overall look and presentation. Also doesn’t help having past experience on how flimsy the original Armory 1.0 is to handle.
