Man, I can see why Nam gets into it with Alex_Logan, the guy's a little prick.

By happenstance I was visiting a thread on another site and I saw a long ass post that looked familiar pertaining to the Dark Knight Rises.

****ing Alex_Logan took a post write up I made on here a few weeks back and commented that it was "nothing but fanboy nonsense" and how it's wrong to think how I am. I of course wasn't named and remained anonymous but I still think that's a little strange. Sucks too because I can't even defend myself.






Using my post for his argument worked so well that some other member there actually commented "that was a damn good post" about what I posted in here.


I really don't understand why that guy hasn't been banned from this site, especially after that stuff with the pictures of old men.

Now, I don't care if anyone loves or hates this film but the people that have these little agendas to convince others that it's awful or great (like Alex_Logan is clearly doing) just pisses me off.

I used to think Nam was a little harsh on ya for a bit there, but man, you really are a POS.

Every new generation, since the baby boom, has become less intelligent, overall, than those that came before them. Eventually, unless things change, we will be so dumb, as a species, that current text speak and tweets will seem like Shakespeare by comparison.

I think the fact that you go from site to site having to defend a film with such vigor says it all. You love it, that's fine. But it appears you just can't stand those that don't (or those that would question certain characteristics, such as myself). Why does that matter? You know you like it.

You post all these statistics and reviews and posts and for what? To claim that you think the movie is good? Shouldn't you know that?

What exactly is your game here? Prove to the world that TDKR isn't bad? Isn't that a little petty? There is no ultimate truth here, box office numbers and reviews be damned. What will you do if, god forbid, the film doesn't hold up as well in the next couple of years and people are even more negative then they are now?


Let's face it, you got some nerve saying that my posts (or that post) come off as "nothing but fanboy nonsense". Speak for yourself friend. You seem to be the biggest fan boy of them all.


We're all entitled to our opinions, love or hate the movie. Look at CelticP or Intothevoid. They love it, may have a few criticisms of their own, but ultimately they don't give two ****s what other people think. (Well void might because I see him linking to box office result links quite often, but I digress).

I enjoyed Batman and Batman Returns - they were cheesy, fun, popcorn type of movies. But I love Nolan's Batman a hell of a lot more...something I will rewatch again and again. Can't say that for the other Batmans.

To be honest though - it really is unfair to compare them. Aside from being Batman they are such different types of films, imo.

No, it's not. I never said that what you think is the wrong. Never. You can think whatever you want. You have the right to your opinion. I don't go from site to site trying to prove people wrong. If I see a post that I don't agree with I comment and back my belief up.

If you go back a few pages you will see that I commented that same post here. You never replied so I figured you didn't care. I used your post because I thought I was best example of my point.
