See even Avengers wasn't a great movie. Great characters interacting? Sure. The rest of the movie? very meh.
I love how it's apparentlly out-of-line for Devin Faraci to say that TDKR might not be a good movie, but it's cool when Solidsnake says TDKR is the greatest movie of all-time. 
I mean, the BadAssDigest stuff isn't even that extreme. Let go of the Butt-hurt, Nolanites.

Nice.
But what was so great about 1982? ET and Poltergeist is all I remember. I also remember that summer being a disappointment after 5 years of amazing movies - Star Wars, Alien, Empire, Raiders.... and then E.T.???? Seemed sappy to me at the time much like Titanic did. And Avatar. 1984 or 1989 were much bigger, busier years packed with high expectations.
But I agree with the review of this year.

Actually, in this trilogy he's more "*******, I want to quit being Batman."
tis true. it was a good movie and all but nolans batman was nothing like how the original batman would have acted. Batman is crazy, the reason why he became a crimefighter was becuase of his parents and your telling me that just becuase some ugly ***** he knew died makes him quit for 8yrs. Sorry i hated that about this film. just me tho. I guess batman should have given up crimefighting when jason todd died and when bababra gordon got shot.

yes a large city such as gotham has been at peace for 8yrs with no voilence and no crime. lol yea ok then. I hope new york follows the same path soon.

This is not a Batman that goes around knocking off petty thieves. This series has always been about large scale crime - once you tackle that, the police can clear up the rest.
And that's also why he's NOT "the ******* Batman".
