What do you mean "it is not Inception" ? This isn't something you only find in mind bending complicated movies, it's a standard director trope that Nolan used as well. He used that last shot with Batman in the cockpit to throw people off by making it seem he died in the blast. But of course he got away by using the autopilot WAY sooner then when you actually see that cockpit shot. Otherwise he would have died in the blast. Lot's of movies do this to fool the audience.
Do you know what it is? Imagine a movie and they show a guy who is falling out from the plane and just when he would hit the ground 2 meters away they cut for an other sequence. But than the guy survived at the end and you are like WTF? This is exactly what Nolan did in Rises. There was five seconds until the bomb goes off and Nolan showed Batman for a long period of time before that and than he cut to the Bat. I said that before and I say it again. It just doesn't work for me, because it was done in a stupid way IMO. This is not how you throw people off IMO in a movie like this. You try to play it smart write these things in a smart way and not cheap if you know what I mean. I know what you guys trying to say, but It just doesn't work. Unless in this world there is a JL and a Watchtower.
