the first fight with bane and batman is one of the best fights of all
time. and even though i love TDK more than TDKR there is no fight
in TDK even close to that or the second bane and batman fight.

Yeah, the lack of score in that scene makes it so much more powerful.

You could just feel the uncomfortableness of the audience during the beat-down, especially when the cowl is getting beaten in.

The second fight was better to me because Batman wasn't just swinging his fists wildly or telegraphing his slow-as-heck right hooks.

The first fight was a great showcase for Bane, though.

Pfft...first fight became the best fight in movie history as soon as desperate Batman threw his little theatricality and deception explosives at Bane.

Result of that silly stunt?

Broken Back Mountain Batman.

Done, book closed.

I loved both fights for difference reasons

First - for the creepiness, brutality, Bane and the dialogue

second - the goddamn Batman

BUT DIFABIO! OH MAH GAWWDD...IT'S NHAT ACCURATE TO BATMAN IN ISSUE 4645 WHERE HE DOESSSSNT DO THAttttttttt......

Just got back from my 4th time.

Paid close attention to the last shot of Wayne. Selina IS wearing the pearls, the depth of field is focused on bruce, that's why it's hard to see, but they are around her neck..

I know! That fight made me feel so uneasy. The bit that does it is the spinning punch Bane lands and batman just drops.

Yep, but looking at it another way, it shows how much of badass fighter Batman is, anyone other than bane would have gone down!

I agree.. That first fight was chilling... And Bane's dialogue throughout the fight made it even more so. The second fight was equally brutal, especially when Bane started to realize that Batman had his spirit back and started damaging his mask.

That scene when Bane is just bashing in Batman's ribs... and he misses and knocks holes into the pillar was SICK! All I know is that I would never... ever want to get into a fight with Tom Hardy. :thud:
