The Meh:
-Hathaway as Catwoman was just meh. She isn't very attractive nor was she convincing as a seductive super thief. It wasn't that she was bad, she was just not impressive. My wife thought she was better than Michelle Piefer and liked how Hathaway's Catwoman had more depth.
-Worried about WB trying to build upon Robin discovering the Batcave.
I'm guessing you like the Pfeiffer Catwoman? She was good. However, they are from different times, much like comparing Julie Newmar to Michelle Pfeiffer.

I was originally against Hathaway as Catwoman. I didn't see it. However, she's attractive, skilled and has just enough of a conscience to match the examples set forth by the various comic incarnations of the current age. I think she pulled off Catwoman far better than I could've ever hoped. Bane on the other hand was kind of a stretch, I'll admit, but even he grew on me.

I don't think Robin Blake's story will go anywhere. If it does, it will be a one-off movie story arc, which isn't a bad thing really. It would be interesting to see, in my opinion.

My "The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy should be here tomorrow. Really excited for it. The Dark Knight Manual is next on my list.

If you have a Barnes and Noble near you just go there and get it. That's where I got mine.

I might do that; B&N is one of my work's customers, so I can stop in on work time! :yess:

But is it selling for full retail price there? It's tough to swallow paying an extra $17ish.

Except from The Art and Making of Dark Knight Trilogy book. Finally it's clear once and for all cause I know some like to think that Nolan always planned for three movies and he has some grand plan for a third one featuring The Joker but had to change his plan into a lesser one that we got when Heath died.

Well, here is it from the director himself, telling us that he never plan for another one until he actually completed the second movie.

From the TDKR novel. Check out Batman's dialogue on the second page.

It's 40 bucks. I'd rather go online. :lol

But holy ____...that Bale pic makes me happy, and sad. It's just the coolest thing i've seen a celebrity do in a while.

Finally got to see this flick in Australia today once the misses and i got the Oldies to babysit bub for us.
I must say i have remained spoiler free except for the trailers.
Who would have thought 15mins out i would have a lump in my throat and i would start crying!!!!
Awesome flick, loved it and a great way to end THIS trilogy ;)

It's never said how Batman finds him so quickly.
It goes without saying that he's the GODDAMN BATMAN.

Actually, this is NOLAN's Batman . . . which means he dicks over Alfred, fakes his own death (yawn), and absconds to Italy to be a tourist (yawn) with a mewling quim who sold him out to a goatse-masked, watery-eyed wuss.

That's actually pretty true to one of the comic aspects of Batman some of you have been demanding more of

That's actually a vague approximation to the source material of Batman that true constant readers have been demanding more of.

FTFY

(try not to MOD SO HARD. you sound like a TOOL . . . :pow)
